What's good about bloodborne aside from the atmosphere?
The graphics are shit, the Frame rate is shit, the music is worse than all the other Souls games, it is by far the easiest game of the series, the PvP was the worst of all souls games, half the bosses were uninspired shit, and the actual levels lack any variety of scenery or exploration so the whole game feels like one large drag from start to finish.
It was an alright game but anything more than that is being very generous.

Except it doesn't look good. It has shitty PS2/early 360 game textures on everything but the armor. Coupled with poor Frame rate, chromatic aberration, bloom and blur the game is unpleasant to look at.

I don't remember my first hour after the subsequent 30, I just know that you can usually tell who didn't play or played blindfolded when they say dumb shit like that.
I finished DaS3, going slowly and taking everything in, exploring every area. I didn't miss a single optional area and did some PvP here and there as I went through. Finished my first playthough in70hours
I made sure not to rush the game as to not misjudge it.
Immediately after I went back to making another character in Bloodborne and had much more fun. No intention in ever going back to DaS3 unless I feel like messing with people with the most broken PvP build.
What a boring mess. The whole game is jerking off to DaS1 nostalgia. 80% of weapons and armor are recycled and I had no interest in using them for the 3rd time. Even though areas have a lot of little branching paths within them, they are somehow still boring and the world feels linear. Starting the game with 2 teleports between areas in a row is a bit too much.

I don't really care about DaS or BB but come on, pick something new, this is stale.
Its not, but it does have its issues.
If you went in expecting loads of build variety and difference in playstyles (which is overrated in Souls anyway, the "difference" in playstyles is never huge like some people say) - then you might have gotten disappointed.
It has the best action gameplay in the series but the worst RPG mechanics.
