I never paid for a single shark card, and never had to worry about other players. I had all the guns I needed. The only thing I didn't have was a supercar or armored kuruma, but that's because I chose to buy cars i like more and upgrade them fully. GTAO is pay to look cool, not pay to win.

Everything in GTAO isn't free, it's "free". Meaning it's technically free but they made everything cost retarded amounts of money and give you no real way to make that money.
