The point is to have fun with it. I liked to block the bridge from the undead burg bonfire with a +15 shield, they'd come over and try and get past and I'd just stand there. Then they'd get hit by the undead throwing firebombs, run back and try to come up with a new strategy.
Sometimes I'd not even attack and just watch them go through the level. Sometimes drop players stuff, etc.. etc..
