What are some must-have mods for someone who wants to try a mage character for the first time?I bought the GOTY Edition about 13 years ago, time to play this shit

Honestly, check out MGO which people have already indicated, Morrowind Audio Overhaul, and LGNPC.
The other thing I'd recommend that's non-essential but fantastic are MacKom's <race> Redone set. Best faces for Morrowind, hands down.

1. I would say just openmw, tamriel rebuilt, and maybe watercolor textures for a close to vanilla look.
2. If you wanted full graphics then you should follow the tesgeneral guide anons guide for a modded look.
3. Mgso is kind of a buggy mess with missing textures and bugs throughout the game, also, it will never look as good as a personally modded game due to using outdated mods.
No matter which path you choose, you should stick tamriel rebuilt on there because it is the best content mod for morrowind.

I played stealth and it was fun as fuck. I do recommend thieves and magonna tong quest lines.
Mage was very hard to get off the ground so to speak. Buy a lot of potions.
I remember you could level acrobatics by just jumping alot so its easy to level.
