Along with the garbage 20tick, having anything between 10-300 ping is inconsistent and fuckshit. These two make some games entertaining because what you do (shoot someone in the head first) actually does happen (they die, you don't). MOST of the time though, it's pretty much the other way around: you shoot first, you get the hit sound and your target even moans its UNF damage sound, but you're the one who immediately goes from full health to dead through a wall and your target wasn't even scratched.
There is no sense of gitting gud in games like these. It was so bad and I raged so hard that I've decided to never touch a game - at least not an FPS - below 60tick again. Even CSGO and TF2 has these issues often enough, but in OW it was literally every single match.

Even playing with friends doesn't seem to help, not to mention the quick play seeming to absolutely dick you if you have more than 2 or 3 people in your party, because then you get to play against 6 stack central. It is quite different senpai. In battleborn you have a lane which you're trying to push minions in (This is only one game mode I know) and trying to reduce the amount of minions being pushed by the enemy. You then have mercenary camps which you need to plan timing for. Everything you do in that game is trying to delay the push of the other teams minions, so killing other players helps your minion push. Overwatch is all about planning with your team mates to try and complete an objective, counter picking the enemies champions to try and win
