Good game, kinda tedious vanilla however, and needs a couple QoL mods.
Next time I play I'll go without hounds, and ramp difficulty in other ways.
I liked playing as the second character. game was a bit tough for me

Which mods do you guys usually use?
It's pretty enjoyable. But I really can't play for very long at any given time. I've also found myself enjoying stranded deep more than don't starve lately. Don't starve just loses a lot of its charm after you build your first portal.

bretty fun, last time I played it with a friend when they introduced the dont starve together beta. shit's pretty cash but I haven't played in ages and lost all "skill" / knowledge I ever had in this game. I also own the shipwrecked DLC but never once started it because I feel inadequate to play this game nowadays because I don't know shit anymore
I like the good balancing. Pretty much everything has some kind of drawback. You can't just exploit something to survive. You also need to prepare and change your approach the whole game if you want to survive and there is always some kind of surprise hiding, be it good or bad.
