First couple times I used Bastion, I fucked everyone up, whether as attacker or defender. Last few times, I can't be in turret mode for more than 3 seconds before the DPS focus is on me. literally can't fucking move, helpless without a Reinhardt. In other words, yes, git gud. Genji can fuck Bastion with a single activation of one ability. Not viable at all without protection.

The strategy I've used to deal with Bastion as a turret is to fly right up to or behind him while blocking, and then start shooting as soon as I make it in front of or preferably behind him. As someone that played a fair share of Torbjorn, I honestly wish that more people played Symmetra. Torb+Symmetra on defense is so fun, the two of you give an additional 100 health to all of your allies and can cover so much space. I realised why so many people compare this game to Mobas, it's the amount of slows and stuns there are in the game. It's absurd. They're mostly balanced but they feel terrible to play with and play against. Combined with how slow every character runs, it's easy to compare it to the slowness/pacing of ASSFAGGOTS.

Was talking with a friend about this, Blizzard need to make more ways to get around the maps than what's there currently, because more often than not you get funneled into a chokepoint with no way to get to anyone without going through it(aside from being Pharaoh).

I can already see Blizzard giving his railgun startup. If that blue light in the back is supposed to be his head during his gun mode it sort of sucks it can easily be blocked by chilling against a wall. He does crazy DPS and Bastions can kill someone multiple times in gun mode before they can even make a dent on them. Bastions are always a group effort to take down.

I have no problem killing bastion, the issue I have is that he can completely turn the tide of an entire team fight by basic positioning.
There's been several occasions where my team have been easily pushing back the enemy only for a bastion to set up camp 3000 meters away and instantly melt everyone around me with his 0 damage falloff turbo bullets. No one character should have that much power from simply taking advantage of not being seen. If you notice him, it's easy to react accordingly, but in pubs and shit, if I see a bastion in the corner of my eye who just switched config, i know everyone in the nearby area is going to be raped without a chance.

Have you even played the game, what the fuck is this? Read my last post again, notice the part about map structure and chokepoints. You can't just "get around" Bastion willy nilly because usually he isn't sitting in some open field, he's somewhere where to get to him you need to get past others on his team. He's usually either up high somewhere with teammates around him, or up against a wall with teammates around him. Or fuck, maybe you're playing against A.I and they don't know what they're doing and that's why you say "durr just get round him :D"

The game's that are good are fun but it will devolve into people picking flavor of the week combos that allow you to stomp the enemy team because the game doesn't have any hard counters, only soft/neutral matchups.
