Honestly this. Xbox 360 had a good European userbase and a decent Japanese userbase but MS dropped the ball with Xbone so hard in the early days that only "'murrica console for 'murrica people such as myself" types bought it.
Also now they seem to be pushing a ton of its games to Win10 so people will be even more reluctant to buy one.

Yes, its magnificently fucking moronic to disregard an entire console fanbase as one thing or another.
The PS4 and XB1 sell games proportionate to their install base, they have the exact same demographic, games like Dark Souls 3 and MGS 5 dont sell as much on Xbone but they still sell significant portions. They also have Scalebound coming which has gathered alot of positive reception based on the knowledge of previous Platinum games as well.
TL;DR Dudebro shit sells just as much on both consoles, proportionate to their install bases

Not even Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours got a boxed release in NA for the PS4. I think most devs realized that self-publishing is the way to go. Raiden III & IV were published in the US by UFO Interactive, and Raiden V is being self published digitally by Moss.
