Why is Q team the best
DAMN
Because it has a big-boobed psychopath, a damn brat who keeps bullshitting, and best boy Eric.
The best combination.
>>337056914
BRAT
>>337055506
I really hope the animations in the final game will be decent looking with the proper sound effects and BGM
Also I may just choose randomly which team I'll start with, since they all look interesting, but I really want to see Junpei in the game
>>337057731
I miss happy-go-lucky Jumpy.
>>337058764
still got it
>>337058810
Here's hoping ZTD Jumpy still has it.

If Brother is a super Esper, he might have decided to put her in the alternate route.
Or she decided to get her way in somehow since she can talk to her past/future self
But that's just speculations
Because we don't know anything about them, they're an odd pairing of characters, and two of them are batshit insane.
>>337059250
That's not the same Akane, idiot.
>>337059816
Wasn't it stated that she could see events in various timelines, like how she perceives the different ends in 999?
Otherwise, how do her esper powers function exactly?
>>337060189
>>337060274
Holy shit this is adorable
>>337060394
Don't go for it man. We've all seen what happened to Junpei.
>>337060189
Jumpy's not going to miss his one opportunity, right?
RIGHT?
>>337060504
I say he'll, Go for it, Get it, Lose it, Lose himself, Ignore it, Question it, and be straight with it.
>>337060802
Akane a shit. Jumpy deserves better.
>>337061345
She's alright. Could have left an apology letter in the Van she and Santa left Junpei and everyone else.
>>337059250
It's probably because of the 90 minute memory loss function.
The events of ZTD probably took several hours or days, but to them it would feel like saving/changing the world in an instant. Of course they wouldn't remember anything that happened there.Like the 500 million year button.
>>337060189
WHUT is your PROBLEM??
>>337061603
I mean, he still saved her life and she didn't do anything to thank him
>it's a 'mira helps q behind eric's back' episode
>>337062451
Next step he's going to blame the dog?
>>337062312
She'll thank him when she's 100% sure its safe

When did he ever play the action hero again? Solving sudoku puzzles isn't very actiony.

newfag here, do i need to play the last two games to get the new one?
>>337062915
Trying to save Past Akane, and everyone that was currently in the incinerator is sort of "actiony" even with the puzzle.
Might be referring to when he was a kid and saved that cat from those older kids when he was younger.
Or maybe something happen in between the events of 999's ending and ZTD that involved him trying to see if he could use his esper powers to save a child and failed miserably.
>>337063197
Yes, it's highly recommended. You should leave the thread as there's already stuff spoiled, but do the games in order.
999 suspense and stressful feel is really awesome

Nope.

For me it's the fact that I'm dooming a version of myself to a near eternity of suffering. Even if my memory of the experience is wiped, it doesn't erase that it happened. I'd never put myself through something like that.

ZE3 being announced was easily one of the biggest wish come true moments I've ever had. Goddamn Shenmue 3 getting made too, and then that dumb "What if PLATINUM made [insert here]" meme came true with Nier 2. A new KoF too, there's so many games I thought would never happen that are getting a chance, it's crazy!

What are the chances someone manages to download ZTD from Nintendo's servers and leaks the game once the review codes go out?
>>337072160
3DS because I feel like the games play better on a DS/3DS system and are definitely suited for a handheld compared to a PC. Not to mention nobody is going to fucking risk spoilers waiting for it while the 3DS and Vita versions are already out.
Might check out the PC port if I ever replay the games though.

>Something I'm curious about is if you play through VLR all the way to the end, it's clear that you had an idea for the setting and events for Zero Time Dilemma already in mind. But it ended up taking a long time to make this game, so I was wondering if things have changed at all from your initial ideas.
>KU: Definitely. It's kind of the same for all titles but definitely, of course, for Zero Time Dilemma. The game structure changed from when I initially thought of it to when I got around to implementing it.
Should we be worried?
>>337088321
Why worry? He had a lot of time to tweak things and he doesn't have to hold back as far as the gore/atmosphere is concerned. Both 999 and VLR were great so I expect nothing less from ZTD.
>>337088321
Not really. 999's story got changed a bunch when it got to the production phase (all the character were originally going to be handcuffed together, but that got scraped) and I'm sure VLR's story got changed a bunch throughout its production as well. So long as he resolves the story properly it's fine.
You know, VLR was actually much darker than 999.
>terrorism
>biohazard weapons
>virus outbreak
>almost humanity extinction
>>337089002
>but muh slashfic descriptions!
>>337089002
I think it was the atmosphere more than anything. In 999 there's this constant sense of dread with you.
>>337089830
Like DR1 and DR2.
DR1 had the darkest atmosphere but DR2 had the darkest themes.
>>337087594
It's a lot to take in at once, there's stuff all around you. Make sure to try and focus on the tasks at hand and don't get too distracted by all the other stuff (they'll come into play later). When stuff clicks, it's a GREAT feeling, especially one puzzle involving positioning. I'm trying to be as nonspoilery as possible, but you can't really talk too much about it without spoiling it.
My team failed, but it was still a really fun experience, so don't worry about preparing before hand or trying to recruit a full squad of 9 (It'd be boring if you knew everyone already).
There's also some lore setup to it that is kinda neat, so if you wanna be "IN the game", you can try to canonize yourself in your head, ha.
Some dude was bugging me and my friend after we commented about it on Uchi's wall, and we gave him the worst advice possible. The dude sent me a buck through Facebook after too, kek. The dude is going with a full group of 9 friends too, I'm gonna laugh really goddamn hard after the inevitable hate-mail barrage I receive, my "advice" is guaranteed to fail his entire group within minutes.
>>337091185
Now I'm really curious about what kind of advice you gave him.
>>337091332
I can't really explain most of them without spoiling the main mechanics of the puzzle. One nonspoilery one was when I told him to look for a hollow floor panel that he'd have to knock onto to find, then lift up to find a key. The image of this moron crawling around with one ear on the floor as he checks each tile is already making me laugh.
on to the next timeline, then.

>>337093236
people are already avoiding the threads because the vita achievements were leaked and they've begun setting up filters
>>337089830
Plus VLR is a little too much to swallow at times. 999 was much more down to earth, which made it more spooky. Also the boat interior was a much better setting than the kinda boring futuristic metal facility. ZTD is continuing with the metal facility trend obviously, but I hope there's a lttle more charm to it this time.

Old Akane says she can jump like Sigma and Phi when they save her before the AB game. It's hard to say if her powers differs when she's young, as 12 year old Akane doesn't seem nearly as powerful. Could be ZTD that develops her powers further, or something.
