Soon it will be my birthday and I was thinking about buying a GODDAMMIT PS Vita because I love indie games and shit.
Do you have any kind of advice on which version to buy and why?

PSTV is by far better than a VITA. Better picture on a large HDTV and far cheaper.

Some are multiplats and available on other Playstation consoles but they have the benefit of being portable, which is why I enjoy having them moreso on the Vita than say my PS3/PS4.

I got a new PCH-2001 for $130 plus tip; in my experience used consoles are shit and fail quickly.
Memory cards have not come down in price and there's only 1GB built in, so make sure you have another $30 for that.
I don't have many indie games but I have tons of PS1 games and a few Vita gems like Tales of Hearts R, P4G, Ultra Despair Girls, Lumines, Touch My Katamari, etc.

Ask yourself: Am I weeb enough to own a Vita?
Just do your research on the memory cards, they're ridiculously overpriced so you need to keep in mind you'll be paying extra.
Only get the 3G one if you're going to use it, and know that it probably won't work very well.
As far as a normal lineup goes, I've enjoyed Tearaway, Gravity Rush (though it may be better on PS4), Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, and Danganronpa. If you like Uncharted and LBP their games on the Vita aren't as good but they're still decent.
As far as indie games go I really like playing Spelunky and Retro City Rampage on it.
Even if you've got a lot of space on your memory card, plan ahead before downloading a bunch of 1-2 GB games, that space goes quick. Balance what you get
