Political situation is "hurr Oman is surrounded by different countries than England", but it doesn't change how you play. If I changed Oman to have all the same policies, religion, government and etc. as England you would still deal with your political situation in an identical way. You play to the situation, sure, but you don't play differently than you would if any other country was in the same situation.
Same with geography and being an island.

Can I make a race of superhumans who actually grow stronger due to inbreeding and whose race started when a mother forced her one son to impregnate his 24 sisters over and over again, in the meantime taking control over the world and using his semen to artificially impregnate more woman. They started to conquer other planets and in time, also mixing their human-based DNA with DNA of other races creating many subraces like dragon race, undead race, demon race, AI race, Eldritch monstrosity race etc. and after 900 years of warfare, they took control of the entire Milky Way and after that and 100 years of peace, their new leader started a war on another Galaxy but because she posses the power of hivemind, using brains of people in her proximity like additonal computing power, she was able to take control over entire Galaxy in matter of years. Also, she did that to gather enough power and save the founders of their race from their time-travelling ancestor whose conciousness after death goes back to the time when death was avoidable, but keeping her memories. She made a rift in time and killed that ancestor in the past.
Oh, also this race became more humane and less fixated on genocide after counterparts of Mother, Son and Sisters from the other Universe came by. Sadly, in a process, both the Mother and Son died.
So yeah, can I play out such scenario?
