1. Gassing your own guys. It was really hard to hit anything at all dropping it out of your plane, much less accurately gassing a group of enemies
2. You'd have to bring the gas all the way up with you, and find a way to deploy it, while flying a plane, without gassing yourself, your gunner, or your own soldiers.

The gas funnily enough was very slow and a lot of people compared it to more a sludge than a gas. Another thing the gas was deployed in glass jars because of a loophole the Germans used that would normally prohibit the use of poison gas a la the hauge confrence.
