I was SL 100 with a +10 Irithyll Rapier when I went against Nameless King, I think it took me 5 and now regret it because it probably would've been much more fun at a lower level.

I beat him solo too but it took me about twenty tries.
I kept trying to fight him like I was doing with most of the previous bosses which was up close and personal despite being a Sorc build.
Once I fought him by keeping range and using my magic, I got him after a few tries.
He's one of the few bosses that I actually could keep range on.

Phase 1 Ludwig is definitely harder than Smelter by far, but Phase 2 is honestly easier than 50% of the bosses in the entire series. Seriously that shit was a let down. I busted my ass on his first form probably a dozen times, and shit myself when I learned he had another form since I figured I was about to eat dirt and have to try another hot dozen times to figure that one out, but I ended up one-trying it.
Honestly there's some sort of sick joke going on at FROM where they take a boss and add a second phase that either makes it way easier or way less fun, and I don't fucking like it. It's been this way since Fume Knight really.

In Dark Souls 3 I would say Ponty Sully is one of the least forgiving bosses, Dancer has a few cheap ass combos in her last phase, and Nameless King is just a long battle with very hard hitting attacks. They are difficult in their own ways but honestly nothing in DS3 was unbearable bullshit.

I dunno, and I always liked the Kirkhammer is all. It's the one I keep going back to, though I've used most of them. And all my posts have been falseflags so far, I genuinely think Orphan, Ludwig, and Laurence are by far the hardest fights of the five games so far, Lud and Zallen are pretty bad but the run back is more of the problem than the 2kats themselves.
BB is my favorite of the five games, and I've played all of them a lot, some times shitposting is just fun though.

Pontiff was never hard even the first time around, I parried him on my first attempt
Dancer is literally slow as fuck until she does that bullshit 5 spins move, I admit I died once to that as I ran out of stamina, but to say her moves arent easy to telegraph by how slow she is most of the time is a joke.
Those 2 bosses shouldnt be hard to veteran soul players, where as Champ is much to aggressive and hits like a truck. His combos are insane and his tracking needs to be nerfed

Pontiffs first phase is just Parry him right off the bat he always swings his fire sword for an easy parry, and if youre leveled right, a quarter of his HP.
When he gets his wings hes pretty aggresive, but 1 good parry and theres another quarter of his HP and he summons his shadow
His shadow always attacks first and always waits for Pontiff to finish the attack to attack again. This highly telegraphs what Pontiff will do as the shadows hits arent as hard as Pontiff. Makes it easy to know if to parry or dodge and combo.
Gundyr, I found way harder because your dodges have to be more timed as he can turn on a dime and missing a parry could mean death due to his stupid combos that can keep you on the ground.

The other bosses coul be taken in different orders. O and S however gate access to the final areas. So the other bosses besides Gwyn and the Tarkus giant aren't hard gates. If you get stuck on any other boss you can just peace out to another area and level on the way.

Not OP but I beat him with a BKGA.
My only issue with him was the timing on the roll on some of his attacks. His sweeping attacks are pretty easy to roll through but his thrust attacks can be a pain since there's a slight difference in delay between each thrust. This on top of the fact that making one mistake meant he takes off close to half your HP.

Literally what I did. The more I stayed close to him, the more I was prone to mistakes and fucking up. So I just lured him to me and waited for the end of his thrust attacks to get some easy shots in. Made the fight so much easier.

Bloodborne was the easiest of any of froms games.
I hope there isnt anymore BB DLC as I returned my PS4 like a month after buying it. Bloodborne was not only easy, it had terrible pvp and no replay value.

I love BB and think its the best souls game but Ludwig and Orphan are not really super hard. Orphan is only even remotely hard because of how many hits it takes to kill him. Eileen The Crow is a harder fight than both and she's just an NPC

It's probably because Sony owns the ip and distribution rights to Asia while talus has rights to distribute in Anerica and Bandai has the rights in Europe. From has little incentive since they can just crest a new ip which they have done twice.
