One of them, Pvt. Henry Johnson was the first American to receive the Croix de Guerre from France, and also received the Medal of Honor from the US.

I think it will live or die by its execution; it's possible that the campaign starts on the docks and ends on the docks. The regimen was sort of infamous among Germans for never having lost ground in a confict (because there were so few of them, but the Germans also crafted some propaganda specifically for the 369th trying to get them to switch sides), that makes for a more interesting video game campaign than just "hey. Trenches. 2 years of trenches and then a grenade took you out."

Contributing supplies is what kept the Britfags afloat. We may not have seen all the fighting and the death that the Brits saw and we may have not really single handedly won the war. But we did our part dude, don't say "amerifats didn't do shit" when thousands died going into a war Europe started. Also giving supplies btw is what even kept the Brits in the war in WW2. It's kinda like they're trying a social experiment.
For years when a character's race or gender was changed the usual backlash was "we wouldn't care if it was done well/in a way that makes sense" and now that case has presented itself in a way.
It is incredibly rare that a black guy fought in WW1 but honestly this has no bearing on anything. I guess if anything it could make the story more interesting. Instead of a regular soldier who kills the bad guys then wins it could be a soldier who's doubted by people or something, and then kills the bad guys and wins.
Though if they bring in a social commentary on how black people are oppressed and a redemption storyline instead of focusing on the actual war and fighting then this could become another case of inclusion for the sake of SJW points.
