Your FPS skill doesn't matter nearly as much in this as does your team comp. I'm no FPS god, but I'm pretty decent and played around with everyone for a bit, but the stupid amount of movement techs, the way that everyone either dies to a sneeze or is a tank getting healed and sucks up damage like a champ is a bit too wide of a gap for me to handle properly, and the overall speed of the game means that hitscan weapons are just better than the projectile classes for most engagements. It tries to mix MOBA and FPS but doesn't quite get the idea that, in an FPS, someone with enough skill can basically roll over a team on his own, but even if you're super fed in a MOBA, you'll still lose if your numbers aren't all there, and Overwatch feels a lot more like the latter.

The abilities each hero has are all pretty simple in and of themselves, and there's a decent amount of overlap, but spreading it out among (at the time) classes along with the variety of different weapons, movespeeds, inability to determine if someone has their ultimate or not, and healthpools means that you aren't following the fairly homogenized system that TF2 set up, nor are you following the identical minus weapons system that Quake set up. It might be that it's just not my kind of game, but it feels like it's trying to juggle too many feathers at once, if that makes sense. Juggling feathers itself is fairly easy, but when you've got 20 of them in the air, it's not going to look very coordinated or impressive.

Try setting a frame limit if you haven't, and don't set render scale to 'auto' or the game will use higher resolutions on less complex scenes. That does look good, but I think your average heat will go down if you keep your render scale constant.

I really hate her interaction with the freeze, how you can't do anything and you're helpless to die. It's not 1999 anymore. Even by UT2k4 the default was still 20 but most servers ran at 35 or 40 because it was configurable.

You can very easily tell on a demo review and when they pull up the hitboxes for the stuff. It's a lot less noticeable to your eye, but it also means that sometimes you'll just whiff shots that you should've otherwise hit.
