What headphones do you use for vidya?
those work pretty well with my xonar dx
>LOL LYK WUTS THA BEST HEADPHONES XDDD
Nice post kid. Now head back to 9gag and stop polluting my board.
Grado SR60i
Really comfy
steel construction, comfy, and shit sounds good. Plus real leather ear pads are the best option.
I also loved paying extra money for a niggers name slapped on it.
The one that came with my phone
Hella comfy
They're ok
>>336730519
I need a new one.
Is the creative h5 good for the price? Is there better stuff in that price range?
>>336732179
Could you be any more of a faggot?
>>336732547
They sound tinny as shit
>>336732179
Are you a grill? :3
>>336732609
I'm talking about the design and the fact you actually purchased this.
>>336732676
I'm not that anon, but I've tried them and they're shit in every aspect.
I'm about to buy these.
Are they any good?
>>336731624
Shit
>>336732868
Plasticy trash
Ultrasone HFI-700.
They're far from perfect but they beat my old headphones that were falling apart.
>>336732937
What's wrong with it =/
I have these paired up with a Fiio e10k and they sound amazing.
>>336732868
You can find a few things that are better for roughly the same price. How much are you paying?
>>336733153
The ATH? They're not durable, they have shit build quality.
>>336733396
$120 AU for new
>>336732868
Get the AKG K553s on Massdrop. They're 119$ I think and they're vastly superior.
>>336731929
I have the same pair, great all-purpose headphones
Not vidya.
>>>/g/
The most comfy headphones I've ever owned.
built like a tank, feel like a cloud on my head
>closed-back
I don't live alone.
>>336733515
I love the fuzzy cans but I can't wear them. Too much heat and humidity, my body would turn them into sloppy garbage in weeks.
>>336733567
>>336733448
What's considered good build quality? I wore a pair of M50s every day for about 2-3 years before they broke.
5.1 surround sound.
Why would you use headphones?
>>336730519
Been using this for almost decade
>>336733907
ASMR
>>336733601
I thought that would be the case too, but I surprisingly haven't had that issue.

Sennheiser CX 300 II earbuds. Best thirty-five bucks I ever spent.
hello
>>336732673
No
>>336732676
They're cool though
>>336733567
Feels like a vice on my head personally.
>>336734221
I can't deal with earbuds. My heartbeat drowns out everything.
>>336734221
These are what I use when I'm walking to/from work and working out. They are brilliant for their price.
I use HD800's, pic related.
AD700's and ATH-M50s are great for the price though.
>>336730519
I use to have a pair of those. Best headphones I've ever had, but why the FUCK was there not a replaceable cable.
The akg k240's I have now are decent, but they are not nearly as comfortable.
>>336733345
Oh hey friend, exactly the same setup.
I like your style.
I'm doubting between DT 880 pro, DT Custom studio and AT-MSR7.Any advice? (gaming+studio mixing)
>>336734368
They look like five kilo dumbells what the fuck
>>336734343
I know right? Fucking amazing for the price.
>>336733941
mfw I was heard about this company and realized I used to be friends with Grado who works there.
>>336734524
They're actually probably the comfiest pair of headphones out there. They are gigantic though, but it's pretty much necessary to create the perfect sound.
I picked these up for $10 when my local electronics shop went bankrupt.
I mainly use speakers so these are only for voice chat.
>>336732868
They have the title of the meme headphones for a reason.
>>336733464
Don't listen to this guy, k553s are good headphones but lack for gaming.
>>336734301
H-how? Unlike the plastic shit, you can easily bend and loosen the headband as much as you like. Velour pads are like pillows too.
>>336734493
If you're thinking of doing any serious studio mixing, I wouldn't recommend anything Beyerdynamic. All of them have a pretty big soundstage and none are really neutral (not to mention I just dislike them for shoddy build quality as well, from personal experience). Can't say anything about the AT-MSR7 though, I know nothing.
>>336733463
That's pretty damn pricey, can you not import headphones from USA or anything? I dunno how the aussie headphone market goes. HD558 and DT770 are decent headphones that might be in a similar range. What kinda music do you listen to? The M40's aren't particularly bad but they're very bass heavy.
>>336733448
Nice bait
>>336730519
Like pillows for my ears.
>>336733567
>built like a tank
>piece of plastic on the side indicating L/R cracked within a month
>right ear now resonates on low frequencies after a year
Never buying this shit again, let alone the absolute absence of high frequencies.
>>336734974
No idea, I bend the headband until it's flat but it regains its clamping force after a while and becomes incredibly uncomfortable if not painful to wear
I've bought a pair of Sony MDR Z7 headphones as well but have the same problem, so I've now upgraded my speakers to a pair of Adam A7X monitors
>>336735002
It's supposed to be a revision of the M50x's, as well as the custom studio is a revision of the custom one. I'm not going to do any "serious" mixing. just some arrangements for my band
>>336730519
I use the AD700's as well, comfy and good quality.
>>336734368
heard these are bass light, that true?
Who /HD600/ here?
>>336735330
They're neutral. If you listen to beats by dre, then yeah of course they'll feel light on bass - But the truth of the matter is that the bass is very tight and punchy. Compared to most stuff you hear these days, they'll feel light on bass, but that's because bass is always artificially increased.
>>336735136
>right ear now resonates on low frequencies after a year
An hair is touching the driver
>absolute absence of high frequencies
Nigger, ear rape is THE meme about them
Your hearing must be irrecoverably damaged.
where are my AT bros
>>336735819
>A hair is touching the driver
I took it apart, nothing was there.
>ear rape is THE meme about them
No they're not. This thing has amazing bass and great soundstage, but high frequencies are so bad I don't even enjoy playing piano with these.
>>336734689
can you give us a story?
>>336734493
Any one around 200€then?
>>336730519
These. Poorfag and got them for free years ago. No bass but great separation.
>>336735374
I have the 650s mang. They're breddy gud.
>>336731417
Here's a (You)
>>336736551
I wish I bought the 650s instead now, 600s are too bright for me. Still good, but they fatigue me so fast.
>being poor
I feel bad for yall
anyone used/using beyer custom one pro's? im debating buying a pair to replace my shitty cheap senns.
>>336734387
I've never had any problems but i get you. I remember having to wait like 3 or 4 weeks to get them imported from the states

Xiaomi Pistons 2s
love audiokeks who spend 300 dollars on a pair of cans when these buds sound almost the same and I got them for 16 dollars
>>336730519
Still use those things. Was considering getting something newer because the pads were worn out and the wings were broken. Contacted support and got all of the parts replaced for something like $3 plus shipping. These headphones are too good to give up.
>>336737107

Detachable cable is the way to go.
>>336731929
Bruh, I have 598 SE, they super comfy and pleasant.
>>336732868
They sound good but are terribly uncomfy, I had to wear a beanie on my head under the headphones if I wanted to wear them for more than an hour.
After they broke (they lasted a good while though) I got These >>336731378
(But the ivory ones)
Literally infinite comfy. I can wear the sennheisers for hours no problem
>>336730519
They're pretty cheap and are good for everyday use.
Are any of the normally good (audiotechnica/sennheiser) brand "gaming" headsets worth anything? Would I be better off just going with normal headphones?
I know gaming headphones are usually gimmicky bad (razer/logitech etc) but they can't be too bad from good headphone manufacturers, right?
it has an extraordinary sound quality, although these fucking leather earpads are falling apart
sonyggers ww@
>>336738773
Why would you not just buy headphones and then buy an attachable mic? But to answer your question, a lot of manufacturers offer attachments to their headphones when you order, you can just add your own that way. Or some sell their mainline headphones + a mic as a headset under a different name.
Got these for casual wear for $15 (which is full price for them). By no means are they anywhere close to being audiophile headphones, but they're more comfortable than my X12s so I really don't care.
I do have some 668Bs lying around, but those are physically painful to use for more than 5 minutes, if that.
I use a Modmic for voice.
>>336740096
I use those too. Fantastic.
>>336740363
I'm lazy and would like everything to be one unit for some reason, so I was curious. The non-headset pair I was interested in getting has an attachable mic you can buy, but I've never really asked about proper brand headsets before.
>>336735026
consider that 120 AU is like what this cuck pays for a 15 year old game. its pretty cheap
>>336740693
Problem is that most "gayman" stuff is marked up about 50% for the "quality that gamers deserve".
Source: everything Razer makes.
>>336741017
Sennheiser/audio technica do gayman headsets, so i thought it was worth asking about. I'll probably just end up buying the Beyer C1P's I got recommended + attachable mic.
>>336741228
That's probably the best way to go.
>+ attachable mic.
Modmic is pretty good if you're leaning towards something with pretty good audio quality.
I know there's at least 2 or 3 of you here with one of these.
Anyone know whats a good set of soft earmuffs that I can replace on this thing?
Love the sound but the pads just feel annoying after a while
so should I get a $500 headphone next or just invest it into monitor speakers instead at this point?
>>336741497
There's actually one designed to go with the headphones in particular, but I could stick a modmic on as well.

SICK GRILLE BRAH
>>336741738
>>336742210
I honestly haven't tried any new pads, since my ears hit the inside of the headphones themselves and it hurts quite a lot after a while.
Maybe it's because I have mutant ears. It might also explain why earbuds just don't stay inside.
>>336730519
That one. It's surprising how good the bass is for something that's not supposed to have much of (with the right tweaks).
>>336742535
this
I would have them on for hours longer, but my ears start to fucking HURT and I gotta ovem towards the front of my ears to ease the pressure pains

>>336741971

>For a mic
Holy fuck dude, just get a modmic then
>>336737114
any audiokeks agree?
>>336731929
Yup
>>336738026
The SE are the all black ones, right?
I prefer the regular. More A E S T H E T I C.
Recently bought the Sennheiser PC363D from Amazon for a really good price (160€) They are usually something between 189 - 220.
Still don't know if I'll keep them because 7.1 gives me that seashell/barrel sensation. Not too impressed desu. (The left membran also vibrates audioble with heavy bass sounds which is annoying, the replacement I got does the same thing) I feel for that headset surround sound meme. Senpai
Stereo sound is alright but not any better than my old sennheiser headset I bought in 2009. (PC 166)
Any recomendations for a 200€ ones? (no mic)
>>336731929
You are forever my negro
>>336740548
i have these, they have started crackling at high volumes
Someone recommended that I should get Creative Aurvana Live! headphones. How are they?
>>336740269
uncomfortable headphones yet not really great for portable use because of that cable
how are these so popular
>>336749969
the cable is the best part
whatever's plugged in.
Vmoda m100s. They're decent. Not worth the 300MSRP, but definitely 100 I got them for was good. If it's console, it's always my surround sound though.
>>336747108
nothing at all
>>336749969
Because they are comfortable and portable?
>>336748229
Anything "gamer" is a meme, but "surround sound" on a headphone is an even bigger one.
>>336749073
They're pretty alright if that's your price range.
This legendary piece of shit
I preferred my HD 202-IIs in every way except that the cushion covers are better. Can't lean back without them almost coming off and the cable is both a little too short and tends to catch on clothing because of its rough surface.
