I hadn't seen the Indiana Jones movies since I was a kid and when I rewatched them I was surprised that Indiana Jones was not quite the good guy I remember him being.
Temple of Doom is actually the movie about him becoming a "good guy", Raiders just refers to his not so pleasant past. I was really taken aback by the scene in Marion's bar where it's revealed that Indy was a pedo, that shit just went right over my head when I was a kid.

To be an "icon" you have to move recordbreaking units, define a console or generation. Uncharted games don't do that. No one's buying a console just to play Uncharted. I never played the game until I reluctantly bought a ps4. Got the trilogy. Powered my way through the first game, fucking repetitive shit. Started on the 2nd one. Kind of seemed more of the same turned it off. Haven't played it since.
Not sure how the series took off. The characters were likeable and all but that game play was pretty shit. I wouldn't even give it a pass for when it was released, because Max Payne 1 did it better.
