I enjoy playing it with my girlfriend, however, we both agree that it's sort of bare-bones - it's got a lot of decent ideas but doesn't really pull through on most of them. It's a pretty fun casual romp if you like Minecraft style games... just don't expect any depth or meaningful gameplay.

I have ~60 hours on Steam, played it quite recently and it's still shit, sorry.
No amount of new mechanics and content is going to fix the fundamental problem, which is a pointlessly high number of barren planets with nothing to do, all with the same fucking rng terrain that's not half as cool as Terraria. Also - 3 types of almost identical mobs with 4-5 types of attacks, which take from 1-10 hits to kill (which, in turn, makes the weapon variety obsolete, as, aside from the bosses, there's literally no reason to fight mobs) and drop "shells" or "hides" which you can then use to craft some crap-tier armor. Fuck off, Tiy.

Then I actually played it and I couldn't really put my finger on it, but it just felt so disjointed, unfulfilling and unfun.
What I do know is that the ship being your 'housing' and the fact that you constantly go to other planets made the game feel incredibly empty for me.
I just find Terraria a whole lot more fun and rewarding.
