Did anyone else feel like shit assassinating the targets in this episode? Francesca hardly did anything wrong
>>
Silvio was mentally deranged to the point of insanity, it was admittedly his mother's fault, but the dude was still dangerous. He wanted to kill everyone who bullied him when he was a child.

Francesca was ruthless and part of a shady company of people that wanted to create this virus and sell it to governments.

I can't feel too bad about killing either of them or destroying the virus.

I put 47 spices in the pasta still tastes like ashes in my mouth
I hang my head and cry when I think of spaghetti bolognese that you've made for us both
that summer night in Napoli with the alleycats serenading our love
Now I prowl the streets around your house like a beast in the night you are all that I'm thinking of
>AH, AH, AH...
I stand outside your window pleading
>AH, AH, AH...
Won't you hear me, won't you see

RITORNARE I'm begging you come back to me
RITORNARE I follow you, I'm watching you
RITORNARE Come back to me or I will find 47 ways to make you mine

The taste of wine turns bitter on my tongue
There were candles burning when we made love
I see you lighting candles now as you feed the peasant whose dirty hands soil the table cloth
>AH, AH, AH...
I watched that swine drink to his fill
>AH, AH, AH...
Get rid of him or I swear I will

RITORNARE I'm begging you come back to me
RITORNARE I follow you, I'm watching you
RITORNARE I'm seeking you, thinking of 47 ways to make you pay
>>
I just played the first tutorial level. Any tips? I seem to just be changing costumes and then strangling the dude when he's alone , the second time I got caught by the man in the white hat and threw a statue at his head and shot the guy.

I'm so used to metal gear solid 5 that it fucks me up.

Nah, m8. It's excellent, but considering the content so far, it's still behind Blood Money and Contracts.

Yeah but wasn't it because there were some security measures not being held or construction stuff that was skipped or something?
>>
>>336600337
Well, the immediate obvious answer is the Journalist and the Priest that you kill at the end of Blood Money. They were witnesses and they had to be killed and that is it. In the cutscenes you also kill a bird and a postman because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time)

Clarence from the beginning of Blood Money is a fuck up, but not really a bad person, just incredibly incompetent and responsible for manslaughter.

In Hitman: Contracts, you kill an FBI agent because he got caught. He's already being electrically tortured and you're tasked with killing him off. He's pretty innocent.
>>
I have the intro pack. How much more would it cost to get the full upgrade compared to buying the levels separately? Don't really wanna get the upgrade without knowing the future levels.

I think there are 6 episodes though, although I've heard a rumor there are actually 7.

If it's 6, you only pay an extra 5 bucks on the long run, you also pay an extra 5 bucks if you upgrade right now. If it's 7, you pay an extra 15.

You do have the chance of only buying the episodes you want, though, so if one gets reviewed badly you can skip it, as long as you have the Intro Pack (So I guess Paris is forced onto you)

Hitman Contract's Rendezvous in Rotterdam had you offing a captured detective named Klaas Teller as second target.

The guy's only offensive is getting caught by the biker gang, he is already chained up to an electric generator and very obliviously tortured, yet the client (Heavily implied to be the Rotterdam chief of police or another high-up politician) requests him to be taken out as well to tie up loose ends.

Are Silent Assassin and Contracts really essential? I loved Blood Money but I have a hard time playing these two, they seem barebones and the controls are shit, and some of the levels seem to rely too much on line of sight stealth which has horrible mechanics here. Six missions plus the two tutorial missions plus possibly a finale mission that has been hinted at.

If the next four main missions retain the quality of these missions, then I think it's well worth the 60 bucks. Quality > Quantity.

They're planning on making a second season with more episodes, but you'll most likely have to pay for that as well as if it was another game.

I was drawing bodies through the mansion and one of the maids saw me and she said something like "How can you drag him around like some sack of potatoes? YOU... ANIMAL!"
Had a laff. Some other guy only said "Show some respect"

Codename 47 is unplayable , I don't know how anyone can pretend it's worthwhile
>>
Autistic Pitbull is a villain in a world of villains. If you don't like it, don't play it. I don't.
>>
>>336603843
He hasn't had his birthday yet, m8. September 5. Still only 51.
>>
>>336600372
Yeah, that was fucking brutal.

Especially when it was on the slide of him eating spaghetti as a kid. I felt rather bad about that.
>>
>>336604027
It's unplayable in general but the Traditions of the Trade mission still holds up. It's the cornerstone around which all of the best parts of Hitman built on.
>>
>>336602473
Fuck off. I just sniped both targets when they were inside buildings out of sight because I used see-through. It's broken PERIOD.
>>
How does the new game run? Would I be alright with a 760?
>>
Do any of the games ever mention what 47 does with his money? He just be a millionaire right?

Where does he live? What does he do when he's not murdering, Netflix and reading around the house?
>>
>>336603551
His jaw looks like a penis
>>
>>336603947
There's noting wrong with repeating missions when you fail them. And "over and over" won't happen if you git gud. The only mission I had to replay a lot in Blood Money was the boat mission.

You'll never git gut if you start on the easy difficulties to learn your way through the fucking level. You might as well have looked up a walk-through.
>>
>>336602679
Did you play it? Cause I thought the same as you until I have. I think it's the best Hitman yet. Has literally nothing to do with Absolution.
>>
>>336603089
I did that with Absolution until I realized it's just sneaking tube after sneaking tube. Then I switched to the easiest just to get it over with quickly.
>>
>>336604334
You're going to have to test it. Some people with 980 say they have issues. I'm on 970 and I have some FPS drops with large numbers of NPCs, but then in other places with roughly same number of NPCs I get no drops. Drops to about ~50, at lowest probably ~45. Also the game still looks fantastic on lowest settings.

Are you one of those people who think there are only a couple of ways to complete each mission in Blood Money?
>>
>>336604338
>Do any of the games ever mention what 47 does with his money
Donates it to churches (including Vittorio's) and orphanages, buys better suits and gear + weapons for his hits.

>Where does he live?
In Blood Money he was in a shitty hideout below ground. It's heavily implied he slept at least once in the ICA Safehouse in Sapienza before carrying out the hit.

So, basically, he sleeps in shitty places. Probably doesn't have a single house he goes back to.

>What does he do when he's not murdering
Loves exercising to improve himself, reads some books, target practices. Anything other than that, we have no idea.

Are you underage or do you just really suck at games?

He buys more equipment so he can assassinate more people.

Just like how Garrett steals so he can afford the equipment he needs to steal more things.

How is Italy compared to Paris?

I've spent about 12 hours on the intro pack and I've completed nearly every challenge except the Vampire and heater lamps ect and I guess I'm pretty bored by now. I even have a TOP SCORE in Paris.

Are escalations /fun/?
Are contracts just not more of the same?
Is VampMagic fun?
Is Italy more fun? Or not as quick to find all the opportunities? Or has more?
Are the AI just as stupid?

Yes, I don't have HitmanTM vision or pop-up opportunities.

Thanks for reading.
>>
Talking about that, it's assumed that 47 have no weakness.

But what about childs ? Apparently he refuse to kill them.
>>
>>336604586
What the fuck are you even babbling on about?
I wanted to try out the penetration ability of the Jaeger, so I wanted to shoot them while they were behind walls out of sight. I got Francesca somewhere inside Silvio's office (I think) and Silvio in his observatory atelier. And that was only possible because I could use Batman vision to see their red glowing silhouettes. Now tell me please how that would be possible with the BM map, please, tell me, you stupid nigger.
>>
>>336604997
I'm still doing the intro levels and Paris, but apparently Italy should be a step above Paris.
>>
>>336604334
I play on Medium with a 670 and i53570k, definitely playable and look nice.

Runs a bit hot but is top be expected
>>
>>336604905
Enjoy doing the fake gun+chandelier accidents in Curtains Down, I much prefer more complex and difficult hits.
>>
>>336605038
I don't know if that's a weakness, it's hard to imagine anyone targeting a child and in any other case they're just innocent civilians. I guess you could make the case that some teens or almost teens might be targeted, but perhaps he has some thing with the ICA that states he doesn't do that. And also considering 47 is one of the top of the line assassins, why would they ever send him to kill a kid in the first place.
>>
>>336604997
A lot of people say Italy is much better than France.
I don't think it's much better, but it's definitely as good. You're probably gonna spend more or less the same amount of time you spent in France.
>>
>>336605294
Well to get rid of an entire family. It happened back in the 80s, a contract was ordered by Griselda Blanco. They shot everyone.
>>
>>336605730
I think he'd probably refuse to do it or like I said he has something with Diana that says he doesn't do those contracts.

Laser trip mines in Escalations are such bullshit.

You are basically forced to use the Attic starting location and having to constantly micromanage having the Defuser in your hand or else you arbitrarily lose sucks so much shit.

Just make the Defuser an Intel Item that always works rather than being a physical item you have to have in your hand for fucks sake.
>>
I have started to collect positive and negative points to adress in the survey. Please add what you think is important. If more people tell them the same thing they might be more inclined to listen to it

+
>Different camera circuits, makes cautious and deliberate movement necessary and also adds to exploration and mastery
>The verticality and open feeling of Sapienza are great. It feels just so good walking around that town
>Sanguine products, make the Hitman world feel connected; talk about the Cross family etc.

-
>Still no human shield, agency suitcase, etc.
>I still don't like how detection is handled. I have the visual detection on because I never know what direction someone sees me from and then I still don't know exactly how far I am from being spotted
>Some triggers still too obvious. e.g. putting the tape in makes Silvio abandon everything and head straight to the observatory. That is not logical.
>That key that works on several doors in the town
>Mashing Q for subduing is also stupid.
>Looking through keyholes must come back
>Newspapers carry over non-silent approaches to the next level
>suit retrieval if applicable (i.e. when having started with suit)
>bugs!!!
>Money for hits (buy weapons and gear)
>More movable objects to hide stuff in (like baking soda crate, donut box, etc.)
>General distinction of lethal/non-lethal takedowns with accordings objects (e.g. kill someone with wrench, buttstock with gun)
>Weapon on back animation still lacking
>Disguise with false beard for Marrakesh
>"Suicide bomber" hit for Marrakesh
>dragging bodies as guard should raise no suspicion, provided you weren't seen
>get "innocent" targets, not evil/dangerous people (like Clarence, but actually innocent. Like some stock broker who laid off people and someone suicided because of that and their family want revenge)

>I still don't like how detection is handled. I have the visual detection on because I never know what direction someone sees me from and then I still don't know exactly how far I am from being spotted
Not sure I understand this one.

>Newspapers carry over non-silent approaches to the next level
Don't get this one either.

>Money for hits (buy weapons and gear)
That's nonsense at this point, they have the level up system and changing all of that to some kind of BM money system would be too large a change.

>Disguise with false beard for Marrakesh
>"Suicide bomber" hit for Marrakesh
Just weird.

>dragging bodies as guard should raise no suspicion, provided you weren't seen
>provided you weren't seen
Seen killing?
>>
>>336607569
I don't get the first either, probably wants old detection meter back.
The second one is probably about the infamy you get with witnesses, like in BM where you had to pay money to get not recognized as easily.
I agree with you on the third.
The fourht I support wholeheartedly. I mean, it's already silly enough, so disguising as local would be pretty funny. And simulating a suicide attack is the most logical thing you can do in a muslim country.
The last one I also understood as not seen killing.
>>
>>336605080
Nice to hear
>>336605398
Thanks, I guess it is value for money if I do, however not if I'm not enjoying it
>>336606272
I guess the small sample size does give a good indication but I think the Italy map is inherently conceived to be a better map by virtue of it décor so to say.

A sunny, attractive environment encased as a quaint Italian town by the sea is to me a lot better than a gloomy day in a palace, even if it is in the centre of Paris.

The targets in Italy also seem more alive than the empty husks of Paris. However, gameplay is more important than the perceived niceness of the town. I don't want a Paris reskin.
>>
>>336607234
Is there another Defuser I just haven't found despite combing through pretty much the entire level?
>>
>>336608705
>The last one I also understood as not seen killing.
Alright, in that case it wouldn't make any sense, because whenever someone is killed and a guard sees the body, he radios it in. 47 doesn't do that. Also I don't recall NPC guards dragging bodies around, maybe they do I haven't stuck around long enough to check, but either way it still applies, 47 doesn't tell anyone about it.
>>
>>336609535
You are right, they do call it in. And then they pack them into bags and drag them to god knows which place. There was actually a funny situation in Paris where I went a bit overboard and had three corpses in one room. One guard packed them all and three guards dragged them away, all in one line and partly clipped into each other. Shame I didn't take a picture.
>>
>>336610040
They did that in BM as well didn't they?
>>
>>336610119
Yeah
>>
>>336609458
There's one in the surveillance room in the cellar and one in the room with the laptop you have to hack. Those are the two I know of but there might be more.
