Every fear and suspicion she has regarding the aliens is founded from a military stand point and is entirely reasonable and necessary when you are actually dealing with other races. That's not really so bad because the Turians helped build the ship in the first place. They already know everything about it. Plus Turians the most honor-bound of all the species.
