I think it looks cool. I really dig the realistic military aesthetic they're trying to stick with despite going sci-fi. It's not really my concern if the average CoD fan doesn't like it and views it as too much of a departure from what the series is about.
Honestly BO3 and AW, the most out and out futuristic CoD titles, looked way more interesting and fun to me than any of the ones before it (last one I played was MW2). I'm honestly tempted to go pick those up for cheap now.

You've got a fair point that maybe stuff looks too close to modern stuff with a slight future twist. On the other hand the /k/ inside me thinks that even high-powered future guns are going to be based on something resembling a bullpup frame.
I also have a feeling it's not going to be real FTL travel and the setting is going to be limited to the Solar system.
Infinity Ward has made all the best CoD's since CoD4, so it'll probably be decent. But I don't really like the setting.

Yes but technically you still have plenty of spare magazines available, you just can't reload.
Main campign and multiplayer you get the frankly insane amount of spare bullets.
Which wouldn't be an if it wasn't for the fact that undermines the whole two point of the weapon limit in the first place. You never really forced to choose one gun over the other because there is allways plenty of bullets lying about
