I really liked the final boss battle. The two really good emotional moments from 4 were Ocelot dying and the Snake had a hard life line(which was ruined by sunny). I also didn't understand why Solid couldn't kill himself at the end. He was a cold blooded killer, why would he have such a hard time ending his life, especially if it was supposedly to save the world?

I actually thought Starscream's character arc was far better done than Dinobot's, the latter who was only truly on the Predacon's side for the very first episode then defected at the beginning of the second. Then later on he defects again to the Predacons but then defects back again to the Maximals. And his reasons for doing so make no sense either.
