This is one of the most overhyped games I've ever played.
The input is delayed, the controls are lousy, the movement is clunky, and on top of that the entire game panders to console users as a whole with menus, gameplay choices and control setups.
The worst part is that playing this game on a controller is fucking UNBEARABLE, so what is even the point of lower the entire games standards for it if it's going to be shit either way. For you Polish cocksuckers with controllers, enlighten me for a moment. Plug it in right now and try to navigate a menu, then compare it to KB+M. Explain to me how ANYONE that is a part of the casual audience that they want to appeal to would be patient enough for that. It takes nearly 3 times the amount of time to do simple tasks. They lower their standards to make a game that no one will appreciate. Fuck PC user though, not enough big bucks there, right? Let's just throw our original fans under the bus.

Personally, I loved the game. However I absolutely hated the leveling system for it. If you do the main quest instead of the sidequests, you'll become overleveled and get literally 4 fucking experience points for doing it. If you do the sidequests instead, it will be the same situation.

Too lazy to go through every point, but I simply can't agree with this one. I'll agree the monster contracts were fairly formulaic, but I really enjoyed a lot of the other side quests and main story quests, maybe it's just because I had just finished playing Fallout 4 which had absolutely abysmal quests, but I found most side and main quests to be very entertaining and having interesting narratives and characters.

I like classic RPGs and really enjoyed The Witcher 3.
It had fantastic writing, an interesting world to explore and really captured the feeling of being a wandering monster hunter.
I honestly enjoy the combat too - it's not perfect but on the whole it feels fluid. It encourages you to use a large mixture of different tools. If you just go sword it can be boring sure, but when you're mixing in bombs, signs and potions it can be really enjoyable.

I'm not going to deny the game has some flaws which get more apparent after you give it another go or really examine it, but it was still a great game.
