The hardware limitations are much greater for the 3ds and it having the orchestrated ost was really good sounding. Even Coliseum andXD's OSTs, as good as they sound, have kind of an aged sound in the recording. Plus best battle themes I've heard in a while.
The big city level (can't remember name, one with eiffle tower) looked cool, it came off as very European metropolitan with the cafes and whatnot. That and the Cliffside beach city were kinda pretty.

Good online features only a bottom screen touch away. A greater acknowledgement of competetive play by making breeding and ev training even easier and hosting online events. Amie's really appealing and made the move to 3D models worth it. The models themselves are future-proof for later hardware and can see many revisions. The new pokemon while few are great. Love Phantump, Pumpkaboo, Noivern and Sylveon.
Pokemon Sun/Moon better have a lot more options for customization and your pokemon better fucking follow you around. its bullshit that the last pokemon game to do this was fucking HG/SS

Too much effort and time needed for the Writs of Challenge. The Elite 4 were complete scrubs. Diantha doesn't do anything cool. Team Flare was a bunch of whiny kids hanging on to Lysandre because they didn't have anything better to do. AZ was underutilized. I felt nothing in that postgame battle with him because his role was so miniscule and his backstory was given through a book rather than interaction with him. Overall it was extremely underwhelming and a waste of my money and time.

His list is overall shit, but DP really does get too much shit. It's probably the best set of games that isn't an updated rerelease of some form. The only real problems with it are the godawful surf speed, but at least Sinnoh doesn't need you to surf much, and the regional dex is a tad lacking, though that at least resulted in a few interesting NPC teams.
Otherwise it's the only first of a generation with a decent postgame and the region itself is pretty good.

It had some really nice environments. From beaches, to wasteland, to swamplands, to tundra. Though I still prefer Sinnoh more for the rugged landscape, Hoenn had some really good places too and I actually love the seascape side it also drops the ball in how short some of the environments are.
