You're driving a hard gamble at that point. BLM's are like snipers; they do heavy damage from a distance but they're slow and can't move much. A BLM shouldn't put down Ley Lines unless they're damn sure of their positioning. If it turns out that you're going to get hit then you have to decided if it's worth it.
If the tanks are in good health then you shouldn't have much to worry about. A healer with quick reactions might even give you stoneskin to ease the hit. Don't think for once that you have priority though, and be sure to use every Firestarter and Thundercloud as opportunities to reposition yourself as necessary.I can't wait for Marlboros to be major enemies again. Any Ley Lining faggot that takes a Bad Breath to the face can just die for all I care.Although, really, that's more on the tank for poor positioning.

I've gotten PLD, WAR, SCH, and WHM to 60.
PLD is fucking awful and insanely easy mode. Just keep an eye on your cooldowns and there you go. Fucking awful.
WAR is a touch more difficult but loads more fun. Getting a critical Fell Cleave is very satisfying.
WHM is fun to use with a major emphasis on constantly switching in and out of Cleric Stance. I don't understand why people have such a hard time with WHM's MP; as long as I stay on top of Shroud of Saints, and I'm not spamming Cure 3 like I've seen some idiots do, I never have to worry about it. Add Regen and Medica 2 on top of that, plus Assize for good measure, and it's pretty easy mode but still a lot of fun.
That said, SCH is undoubtedly the better of the too but only with Selene. The party wide DPS buff that fairy gives is absolutely fucking insane. Any SCH using Eos is bad in my book since they apparently need an extra helping hand in healing. Damage and mitigation wise, they're about the same shit. Sure, SCH gets Bane but Aero 3 comes out way faster. Why mitigate damage with Succor when you can totally prevent it with a damage dealing massive AOE stun in Holy? Overall, I'm more comfortable and I have more fun with WHM but I can't deny what a SCH brings in.
I just got DRK to 50. Insanely fucking fun job. Balancing MP management with enmity is awesome. Outside of special cases, like massive pulls from Main Scenario daily, a DRK should never not have Darkside activated. I don't know about being better than the WAR but I'm sure it'll serve as a great compliment. It's also hilarious to get multiple parries into Low Blows back to back.
I haven't really touched AST yet, it's only Lv31. Anyone have any opinions? I hear that they're way, way too luck based for their own good.

Is the 3% haste really that much? With Eos you can pop 60% healing buffs and put a regen on the whole party, then DPS as much as you want.

I think the Orison set looks alright on males. I mean, it's a huge fucking robe/dress, sure, but it's not like the near-skin tight China clothes that the Monk gets, both at Lv50 and 60. I also feel like the esoteric set for WAR looks way fucking better on females than males.

It's not the same. I used to do better personal DPS than a Ninja as a Warrior and now I do as much as a Bard. It made tanking more fun when you actually had to plan your cooldowns appropriately to do high DPS instead of now having a ton of HP but lower damage in return.

3% is a lot more than it sounds. And while you CAN have Eos do the vast majority of work for you, the SCH's damage output is garbage compared to actual DPS.
The only shitty thing about Selene is the Silence ability. It's extremely selective and requires good timing, making it near useless. On the other hand, having a party-wide leeches, Selene's other ability, can completely trivialize some encounters.
