That being said, ENB seemed so much more Omni-present in his knowledge and insight about Souls when his playthroughs had 1000s of hours of knowledge and working closely with FromSoft behind them.
His Dark Souls 3 videos show the exact process of a first playthrough, and the first few episodes were nigh unwatchable. But since he reached Cathederal of the Deep he's gotten back into his groove and is 100% enjoying the game now and excited about what's coming next (and he called Anor Londo long before seeing it). Sure he's missed a bunch of stuff and fucked every quest except Anri's (so far), but he's still enjoyable to watch.
A German Spy on the other hand......I just couldn't, I had to turn it off, I don't know how anyone can reach a new vast area after spending 5 hours in Lothric and then poke around for a while and go back to Lothric to kill more Knights.
He's refusing to level Dex out of some weird principle (even Giantdad put a point into it) and is "min maxxing"....on a first playthrough. It doesn't make sense, min maxing is being efficient as possible for the gear you want to use, he doesn't know what gear even exists yet he's planning a build around no more than 9 Dex.
He's acting like DSP, I'm sure he's enjoying the game, but from his commentary it sounds like he is having no fun at all.

I don't understand why kids as young as 4 like this stuff and I'm not just talking about LP'ers either. It's the whole e-celebs/youtube celebs that do nothing but blog about their day. Adults I can understand because who gives a fuck, but kids. What the fuck is up with that? I even saw my younger cousins bring home books about these guys from their school library.

That's the "official" explanation. The real one is that fame has probably annoyed him a lot: he can't log off for a few days without receiveing tons of emails full of complaints, people follow him everywhere when he goes on vacation, people and companies expect him to deliver a certain content and humor. He started as a simple guy who wanted to do something funny instead of going to college and became a millionaire with no privacy.
He is rich as fuck, but he is terribly restrained too. This is a huge step for him: using less of that "humor" that made him so famous with the underage fanbase is a big change and I doubt whatever company he is working for will be happy.
