I was excited to play that game, but it pissed me off so much. Fuck that game.
I can't even get past the hostage scenario in the beginning after like 3 hours of playing
it has a lot of luck elements which are out of your control.

A thread that's actually relevant to my interests?
I bought this in the last humble bundle and it's been kicking my ass. Took me 2 days to beat the first chapter and I'm currently stuck in the 2nd. Playing on Original difficulty.
The keys to Chapter 1 are
1) Negotiate every 3 turns
2) Charge hack boost every chance you get
3) Give away 3 of the hostages when you need to since 1 hostage is alot easier to manage

Yes when you have a hostage about to break down and the other 3 are calm or getting too bold.
Never send the brown coat guy to the hostage room since he's extremely useful for controlling the other 3.
In my last run I ended up giving away 3 of the hostages and just kept calming down the brown coat guy while negotiating with the attackers
And if anyone gets too calm don't hesitate to shoot them in the leg

It's an ok game with a cool plot and fun characters. It's pixel indie shit, but its good pixel indie shit. Puzzles may seem unfair or frustrating but if you are a masochist like me you will love them.
Just shoot all of the hostages in the leg and heal them just before bleed out. Keep them calm so they don't freak out when you shoot them, and negotiate for medicine when you run out. Its fucking easy.
