If you beat Pontiff how the fuck are you stuck on Dancer? Or did you kill Emma at the start and now you're confused how you can't beat a boss 75% of the way through the game with no levels or equipment?

I use a greatshield, Pontiff was hard but I managed it, Dancer hits too fucking hard though, I don't have enough stamina to sustain her long combo.
Is everyone fighting a different boss than I am?
Can't really beat her because any of her attacks instant kill me but she spends more time slinking around than actually fighting. If you have any HP at all she's probably a cake walk.

you are probably just getting lucky.
There are long stretches where she will continuously perform 5 hit combo sequences one after another.
In my 5 play throughs of the game, I have never died to her.
She spends most of the time doing nothing, so wail on her then, and then when she attacks, just roll into the attack. She punishes early rolls like Nameless, so just really work on getting the timing down.

Dude, just dodge the first attack in the string and then run away, it's not that difficult.

Then dodge fukkboi. Use your shield for the first phase if you're that much of a scrib, she only hits once or twice during it and the timing is hard for dodges. Second phase is way easier to dodge than the first, just remember that she'll do multiple attacks with most abilities. Also her spin attack can be avoided by just getting close as fuck to her. Dodge into the eye of it and maybe dodge the last hit just because I never risked not dodging it to find out.

It's a hint to stay near her ass. She has a gigantic safe spot there. Those spinning attacks go right over your head, and the other attacks can be dodged with one roll.

Is it weird going behind her fucked me a lot more than staying in front of her. She takes three to four slow steps between every move and you can just lay it on her during that time. Extra damage from hitting her face too.

If you break his left bracelets first, sometimes he gets around to actually pulling a sword out of the ground and shit. He spawns skellies with swords, those super fast ninja-skellies with the curved blades, it's pretty shitty. Which is why you attack his right hand first, and he's dead in like a minute.
