They should've just reboot his own show rather than drag him to that. It is absurd as to why DC never did anything with Static, especially during the height of his popularity. I liked Young Justice when it first came out and enjoyed it, but I rewatched it when it came on Netflix.
It's schlock.
Poor writing, edgy edginess, and far too many things done for shock value instead of actual character development.
Just garbage.
The DC, and even Marvel universes are way more conducive to animated movies, with concise stories with closure.
Things like the Flashpoint Paradox work really well as a movie because it doesn't go into excruciating detail on the origins of anyone, it just assumes you know (for the most part)
