I personally dont fight it annoying. I was expecting them all to have squeaky japanese singing voices they were 110% out of place with the english actors, but they did a good job finding voices to match the characters and seem to relate to the singers.
plus I watch anime and have played subbed games with singing involved and generally even the singing (aka singer) sounds different from the person doing the talking. So, again personally, the rage over english dubs with jpn singing is bullshit.

Is it good even if you're not too big of a fan of strategy rpgs? I might just dislike them because I'm bad, but I've never really gotten into them.

It's definitely a great entry-level SRPG. People actually find it pretty easy. The best parts of the game are the story, characters, and music.

Stella glow is actually fairly newbie friendly so I would recommend you to ease yourself into the SRPG genre
My only problem with Stella Glow was with how slow it starts. Incredibly slow boil.
You're presented with a lot of fantasy cliches at the start. But it turns out most of what you know is a lie, and from Chapter 9 onwards it's a crazy ride.

There was lots of bits and pieces throughout the game before theeclipsethat kept me interested and wondering what the hell is going on behind the scenes. That and all the character development and fleshing was what made most of the game enjoyable to mepre-eclipse.

Post Chapter 9:Brutal post-apocalyptic setting where technology and human thought caused the fall of civilization. Everything is fucked and people blame you.

I finished the game three days ago and I immediately started an NG+ to max everyone's affinity now, I got back to the last four missions in the final chapter. I really love Rusty's and Hilda's supports.

She literally broke the game combat wise for me. It wasn't even a challenge on any mission I had her, and I didn't even mean to do it.I just wanted to see if there was a cutscene where she didn't have her box on.I was well rewarded.
I mean, honestly now.Status Ailment+ just completely broke the game. 100% success rate on all orbs was so great. Stop Orb working on every hit just made every enemy that wasn't immune (85%+ of them) a total joke. That and Thief Orb to always get their items when stealing, and later on Seal or Sickness Orb depending on the battle.I didn't expect it at all. Just fantastic stuff.
>>336389781You should have suspected someone in the party would betray you when the harbingers mention a mole. You should have suspected Rusty or Klaus at that point. Evantually Rusty's whole deal with Hrodulf is shown and your suspicion should come to Klaus for sure. When it's shown that the "mole" was just a regular soldier, you should still suspect Klaus because of how quickly he is to refuse to listen to Hilda, and to immediately apprehend them to get on with the anthem.
If you also max'd out Klaus' affinity, you would definitely know.

That's not how you spell Mordimort, Anon. I agree that I prefer Nonoka to Rusty, but he did have fantastic DPS output. His character building dialogues were pretty fun too.

I used Nonoka as well, but Rusty is by far the biggest damage dealer. The only attack that competes is Sakuya's 500 damage slash.

Mordimort isn't too bad. Her butterfly dream is incredibly useful for drawing aggro, and without her I probably wouldn't have beaten some of the bosses in the game.

Ewan at least had amusing character building cutscenes. They were both equally useless in combat, but I always found Mordimort the worst because you never got to bloody well do anything with her. Her AGI was simply atrocious. Other characters could frequently get 2 turns (and in case of extra speedy characters like Rusty/Nonoka 3) in to her one, and even monsters sometimes did as well.
Ewan was pretty slow too, his AGI was also fairly crippled, but I recall his being just a smidge higher. I simply can't stand fielding a character that barely ever actually does anything.

I mean honestly now, Sakuya is the worst offender here. Who the in the fuck would possibly visit "her" as a Priestess/singer? Of all of them to have been left mostly unaltered it should have been her.

I wouldn't say it's a huge difference in difficulty. All it really does it make grinding less of a hassle, if you don't grind then it really makes no difference.

You get 3x as much free time, and there's no restrictions on XP gain from lower level monsters. So you can level up much easier, and get bonuses/event items from exploring.
You get enough free time to max out every relationship, so that's nice. Makes it easy to see all the endings since you can do a suspend save right before killing the last boss.
