The boss doesn't bug the mechanic. You just need to know when to lock onto the King, when to lock onto the dragon and when to not lock onto anything. But actually playing attention and not playing like a fucking idiot seems to be too much effort for you.

i will say that not being able to run and roll while looking around is kind of a pain, but you make up for that by learning to predict the enemy and keeping it in your view, or keeping yourself in a position where you can see it

In so many ways senpai. My all time favorite is the input buffering that seems to have a random algorithm. Sometimes it buffers 1-3 button presses, sometimes none. Or the ever so awesome every enemy hacks through the environment but my tiny dagger gets blocked by 3 foot plant. Of course that's just a tiny fracture, the game has a 16+ trainer solely made to make your death count go up, because that seems to be everything people care about in that franchise.

Hearing about Dark Souls everywhere got me interested and I just got done with ds1 a while ago. Only bosses who gave me trouble were Orsntein/Smough and Manus. O&S took me a while to get good, I wanted the Orstein armour and ended up not even using it.
