I found dark souls 3 way more challenging bloodborne outside of orphan of kos and the defiled chalice.

There are 3 lanterns within waling distance of each other in the BB DLC. tthere's also two lanterns next to ach other at byrgenwerth
Can mash R1 forever with the saw cleaver and do ridiculous damage as well
Most bosses in BB have inflated health but don't become harder as a result
don't even need to be showered in chunks or blood rocks because upgrading the saw cleaver is all you need
