What game have you completed the most times?
I've beaten DMC4 around 30 times
>>336363551
Resident Evil 41 time
>>336363551
Super Castlevania IV , I used to play that thing every day when I was a kid.
Probly r&c: up your arsenal
>>336363643
So you never beat another vidego-game in your life, kid?
Also, Majora's Mask. Say that it's a meme or whatever, but goddamn the storyline of MM plus all the side characters and the side-quests really felt so immersive for me as a 11 year old kid.
Risk of RainI've played it for 500 hours
Journey. 656 times.
If you ask why, it's because it's short and I played it every day for 2 years because I liked the multiplayer aspect and OST.
It takes like three hours to beat these days, if I take my time, but I'll never get tired of it.
Last time I played it was on my phone.
>>336363551
Mirror's Edge
6 times
>>336363551
God of war 2 about 9 times.
Ocorina of Time probably a dozen times.
>play a game 10 times
>always find something you haven't noticed the last time
Demon's Souls - 134
Dark Souls - 345 times.
Dark Souls 2 - 40
Bloodborne - 2
Dark Souls 3 - On my 22 playthrough
Risk of Rain probably
My father died!
>>336365123
>only 2 for bloodborne
but it's the best game in the series???????
>>336363551
Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I probably finished it over 300 times over the last 20 years.
That or Pokémon Red.
>>336365123
So, in your opinion, was DaS2 the worse one in the series?
>>336363551
I've beaten Metal Gear Rising about 17 times.
there's just something about it that makes it so easy to kill an afternoon with
I've played MGS2 about 8 times already
>>336365302
Not a fan of the combat.
>>336365352
Nah. I dislike DaS3 a lot more.
DMC1 Only game I started up again straight after, probably beat it 40 times
FF7 I play yearly so been playing that past 10 years.
I've beaten Banjo-Kazooie and Pokémon Blue at least a dozen times each.
Diablo 2
I lost count but Im pretty sure I beat it over 100 times
>Completing the same game more than once.
Why is /v/ so fucking autistic? How do you have fun replaying the same game over and over again?
Silent Hill 2, somewhere between 10 and 15 times.
I got this ending every time except one, where I got the shiba inu ending.
Honorable mention, Silent Hill 3.
>>336366672
fucking casual
>>336366808
rather be casual than autistic
i never win
Probably Mario 64 and Bayonetta.
>>336364625
>656 times.
holy shit, I've never witnessed such autism
FF9, I don't know the exact amount but I used to replay it once a year. Guessing somewhere around 12 full playthroughs.
I've also replayed ICO and SotC somewhere around 5 times each, and Okami 3 times, two of which were 100% runs.
Oh and the first 3 Fatal Frames 5ish times as well.
>>336366935
Then you're in the wrong place
>>336366672
tell that to the autists that keep replaying hl2 and kissing that gaben poster on their wall
>>336366672
>Not liking a game enough to play it multiple times.
I feel bad for you.
Virtues Last Reward
I think 7 times at this point.
My goal is to get to 999 on the entire trilogy and try to stop there.
MGS 1 2 And 3, added together would be about 150 times.
Crash Bandicoot 3 or 2I used to speedrun them
>>336366672
That's autism for you anon, you can't understand it without having it.
>>336369146
>you can't understand it without having it
That's autism for you
>>336366724
SH2 BRO
I've played that game countless times. I've gotten all the endings at least twice. Now that I think about it, I probably play Silent Hill 1-3 at least once a year.
>>336370697
It's one of those games where I'll never look up how to get the endings and secret stuff because I don't want anything spoiled in any way
Same with 3, beat 3 in 1 hour 57 minutes
>>336363551
Megaman X1, at least 20 times.
>>336363551
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.
I have almost 30 wins!
Ace combat zero
8-9 times I think?
>>336366672
>what is harder difficulty
MGS3, I can't know for sure but I'd guess it's between 10 and 20 times
Diablo 2 & 3 around 100 times
>>336366672
Consider suicide.
Final Fantasy 9: ~18 Clears (including Excalibur 2)
Breath of Fire III: ~25 clears
Breath of Fire IV: 34 clears
Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter: 17 clears for a full 1/4 D-ratio
Suikoden II:67 clears
I've beaten the Halo 3 campaign easily several hundred times. For a long time I was always dicking around and figuring out to break the maps and do skips, all that fun shit.
>>336372440
Did you get Princess Heart and Sexy Beam?
>>336374945
Please explain. I don't understand why someone would beat JRPGs that many times since playthroughs are very similar to one another and very long.
I beat all of Shadow the Hedgehog's 326 story routes, so technically that's the game I've completed most.
>>336375737
Short Answer: Autism
Long Answer: Autism + building characters different ways and some of these games I've been beating annually or semi-annually since they released.
For Dragon Quarter, getting to 1/4 d-ratio is basically pointless grinding since you get all the hidden cutscenes by the time you're 1/512. I got the 1/4 just so I could have my dragon quarter.
For FFIX: Building chars different ways. Since equip on level determines stat growth, you can build and break some insane characters.
For BoF 3/4: Great games with cute sprites and master system lets you do alternative stat growth. So you can try out different builds.
Suikoden II: Unapologetically the best JRPG of all time and my #1 GOAT/GOTYAY. Shits on any other JRPG in terms of story's scope, sheer amount of sprite assets, beautiful animation, and a fantastic almost believable story. Like any Konami game there are lots of reasons for extra play through. Alt endings etc. I'd say by the 10th time I beat it, I'd done everything. Now I just always have a file going because it's literally just the best game ever. I never get tired of how beautiful the game is.
Also autism. But not real autism. At least as far as having a real job that pays more than dick and a cutegirlfriend I'm doing alright.
Last Raven Portable - 23 times.
Mostly because I kept fucking up routes to get to the you-know-who.
Discounting shit like roguelites
>Fallout 2, around 10 times
>Deus Ex, around 10 times
>Diablo 2, around 5 times
>Half-Life, around 5 times
Tenchu: Stealth Assassins.
I've lost count really. Probably 20 or so times.
>>336379272
good taste my dude
the first two games are probably my fav stealth games of all TIEM
>>336376232
Thanks for the explanation. You're alright anon.
>>336380525
Well hey, thanks for not exploding into a bunch of insults and being legitly curious.
I've always been the type of person who replays the games he owns over and over (same with books and movies). Especially these days with so many games being utter disappointments or piece-meal DLC/pay2win-fests. These games are sort of pristine for me. They're from an age untouched by that bullshit. I do play modern stuff from time to time but usually only if it's with friends.
>>336363551
Is the pic from Devil Man?
At least 4 times, 3 of them being Legendary
Pic related. Haven't kept count but it's probably somewhere between 50 and 100 times.
>>336363551
Probably Pokemon red/blue and Super Mario Bros 3.
KOTOR1
>>336363551
chrono triggeronly 9 times

>>336363551
Contra Shattered Soldier
probably around 100 times
honorable mention:
Silent Hill 3 (because I used to speedrun it and re-played the game in all the extra difficulties).
>>336363551
Ocarina of Time, 10 times
>>336363551
Probably Halo 3 or 2
+10
Probably Dark Souls at this point. Started playing in mid 2014, and counting NG+, beaten it maybe 15 times across 10 characters. I just did a "speed challenge," which is to say not a speedrun but how fast I could beat the game playing relatively normally, using only master key and in-game shortcuts. Took about 6 hours, and I probably could have gotten it down to 5.5 had I not tried to kill Pinwheel first thing. I'm not the best at the game but I've come about as close to mastering the PvE as I ever will.
>>336365651
>not a fan of BB's combat
>dislikes DaS3 more than DaS2
really shit taste tbqh
Uh, it would be one of the Crash Bandicoot games. The first 3. I have no idea which but it'll be in the 50s by now.
>>336364353
Rectum and Colon: Up your Arse Anal.

I think the up your arsenal joke was sufficient, anon.
>>336363551
I've probably beaten Mega Man X1 over 50 times
I beat Cave Story two to four times a year since 2007
One summer basically the only new game I had was M&L Superstar Saga and I must have beaten it a few dozen times
Probably the first Castlevania. I give it a playthrough whenever I have a podcast to listen to and nothing better to do during it.
>>336386091
man even normal is too much for me with sh3. how the fuck do you speedrun the super duper extreme shit?
>>336364840
I like you
>>336363551
Probably CastleVania Vampire's Kiss, or Final Fantasy III DS
>>336363551
Halo CE. No other games and I was bored when I was younger, so I beat it over 1000 times, around a 100 per difficulty. Made me sad when the old thing started smoking and we had to get rid of it.
Pic related, for all the different endings
Then all over again on DS
>>336389079
>Vampire's Kiss
doublecucked palfags get out it's bad enough you gotta play the shit version of rondo but then you cuck your frames too? for shame

Star Fox 64 without a doubt.
Had to to get all the emblems on normal and expert.
>>336364625

When you re youg, poorfag and don't have access to dezoning, you play the game anyway.
Was overjoyed years later when Dracula X Chronicle came out thought, beaten the shit out of it, and regret solding it for PS Vita.
Wish I could hack my PSV so I could download DXC on it.
>>336363551
freelancer
around 30 to 40 times
>>336389961
>Dracula X Chronicle
>that shit sotn redub
nigga
I've beaten Metroid Fusion ~20 times if I had to take a guess, not like I've counted
I've moved on to playing the Japanese ROM for the hard difficulty mode, since the game takes zero reading to complete.
MGS2 Tanker episode - about 1000 times doing different challenge runs, collecting dog tags, and generally trying different shit.
>>336363551
Uncharted 2. Lost count. Maybe 25 or so times. That doesn't include times I just replayed one or two chapters or went around doing the stuff for the plat. I was younger then. Lost interest in the series after 3's failed potential.
Other than that Liberty City Stories. Had it for PS2 and PSP. Played it maybe 10-15 times across both. I was maybe 11-12 then and I could just do it over and over.
>>336390264
>implying I cared about SotN

I can't think of a number but I know I replayed the shit out of it when I was younger
>>336390830
>that spiderman vidya with the secret green goblin mode

How would you even manage to count that many playthroughs?
>>336391381
I keep a notepad.
>>336363551
10 times.
Metroid fusion, around 200 times and still counting
>>336363551

>>336392131
>>336363551
I'm up to around 30 on MGR, but I've beaten the first level with Ray at least 200 times. That whole everything was so good.
MY FATHER DIED
>>336392257
I used to own a physical copy but that broke when i hit my 50th or so playthrough. To keep it fresh i limit myself in every playthrough

>>336392815
Eh, don't bother responding to retards like that.
/v/ gets triggered when you actually like games
>>336363551
I played and beat Silent Hill 4 more than 50 times,
I lost the exact count
>>336392789
>>336392759
Im not lying, my cartridge wont keep my saves anymore and if i try to do a longplay on it, it freezes during the sa-x fight before the omega metroid
I'll keep playing metal slug 3 until one day i can 1cc it.
KH2, any variation. I've beaten that game more than 15 times.
I did everything. Went through easy mode. Normal. Hard. Critical. Level 1 Critical. (I'm on my second level 1 playthrough on the PS3, it is fucking hard as shit. )
>>336392759
Well it is pretty easy to get hit by him when he flies around if you haven't figured out the pseudo screw attack trick to avoid damage from his arms.
Secret of Evermore, something like 20 times
>>336383359
Seems like it.
I've finished Mega Man Zero 3 about 15 times.
Thief 1
probably like 25 times or something
Mass Effect - 6 times
Halo 3 - ALOT (because I'd always help friends and randoms with the campaign for some reason)
Kingdom Hearts 1/2 4 times each
>>336363551
I beat Street fighter 2 countless times. If that doesn't count I would say Streets of rage 2 around 100ish times
>>336377971
>trying to get zinaida route for the first time
>kept on fucking it up because I didn't realize you had to kill the tank pulverizer AND kill both guys at the dam to get the right missions

>>336363551
Halo 1 like a billion times
Also Morrowind like a million times
>>336383359
Pretty sure it's Getter Robo
>>336363551
Paper Mario N64. I've beaten it around 10 times I think.
I've beaten the first Metal Slug, Way of the Samurai and Vanquish upside of two hundred times because of how short and excellent they are.
here are some other approximates
>Tenchu 1 - 100
>Tenchu 3 - 30
>Resident Evil 4 - 40
>Dark Souls - 100
>Duke 3D - 150
>Prince of Persia WW - 40

>The Warriors - 20
>Silent Hill 2 - 20
>Soul Reaver - 30
>Digimon World - 20
>Alundra - 30
>Tomb Raider 2 - 20
Lechuck's revenge or Curse of Monkey Island.
I replay them about once a year. DoTT is also high on the list.
>>336363551
Sonic 3K, without a doubt.
I probably played this game through at least once a week a whole year. I'll often boot it up for a few hours every now and again. I'd say I've finished it at least 80-100 times.
And I'd do it again.
>>336393297
There's like 20+ savefiles of KH2 on my older brother's memory card (I still have it). Most of them on the end of the game. We had tons of games and that was the one he played the most.
I've never played KH2 though.
I have finished diablo 2 so many times I have lost count.
I re-install every 6 months or even less
and I make like 6 to 8 characters every time
A tie between Resident Evil 4 and MGS3, both at 12.
>>336387274
how many times have YOU beaten dark souls 3 this week?
>>336391034
That's the Spiderman 1 movie game. Probably the most underrated movie game of all time.

Risk of Rain
Explorers of Time/Sky
Probably Estival Versus
Neptune VII (only because I kept forgetting true end flags).
Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I'm always trying to beat my playtime, currently sitting at roughly five hours. Not a speedrunner time, I know, I do it for fun and because I love the damn game.
>>336396429
what's your time onrichter mode
7:11 here
The original Dark Souls, almost 2000 hours on it.
35-40 times by now.
the sequel's a close 2nd, with 25+ playthrus.
