every zelda game has waiting when getting an item, but OoT takes it as far as they can with the swinging camera animation and the music build up
not to mention when you first get an item there's 90% of the time that unskippable dialogue box. it makes you go at its pace, not yours, it makes replaying the game annoying.
The game eats up time with shit the previous games handled better. LttP has small amounts of unskippable dialogue, but if you add it all together, I'll bet it's just as long as any 1 sage conversation from OoT.
