Skyrim 2 comes out next year, fall
It has:
-awesome combat and animations for third and first person.
-Medium sized open world but completely interconnected and filled with secrets, beautiful scenery, ultra epic rare hard to find enemies and loot and is overall graphically and gameplay wise very enjoyable
-character creation is completely revamped and allows you to play any size and any age
-Insane skill variation allows for huge replay-ability
-everything is carefully handcrafted, placed and deleveled except for an endless dungeon run mode, where you go to find the toughest challenge in the whole skyrim
-Dlc's are varied and have diverse settings and genres like a survival horror dlc or ancient dwermer technology sci fi setting on the 8th moon of awesome
-game is very challenging but rewarding and doesnt feel unfair
-gameplay is very tight, more linear effects but with a huge impact akin to eye

game will be awesome, will see

Do you think the average dudebro even knows about the thousands of problems with gamebryo? They think it's designed that way intentionally and that it's a feature, rather than a maelstrom of atrocious bugs.

they will fail but they will try anyway so the rating isn't bumped much past mature or whatever

cause modifications of a game effect ratings for some dumb fucking reason

in any case citys will have barely more npcs than towns, their ai will consist of three different tasks which they will robotically repeat forever, the number of building you can enter will decrease, all dungeons will be perfect loops, level scaling will somehow be worse than ever before, magic will remove conjuration altogether, all items will have decreased value and daedric quests will be chained into one quest, many find and seek quests will point you directly to the item, interactions with npcs have no negative consequences whatsoever allowing you to support every faction at once and i could go on

This is the only thing in your post I agree with. Theyve seem to have found their sweet spot with Boston in FO4. Medium sized world with dense marked and unmarked locations. Probably the only thing to look forward to is the world building.

Theyre heading the right direction when it comes to Art and design its just a shame every other aspect suffers.

FO4s map was shit, too much shit in a small map, it made exploring exhausting after 20 minutes. Clearing like 25 settlements just to get to a city was nuts.
