The game is set in the future when man can travel faster than light so I don't think there will be any religion in this game.
I'm hopeful. I finally broke down and bought it. Hopefully cdkeys has their shit together and deliver it on time and at least include the pre-order DLC.
The multiplayer stream is pretty fun to watch. Radroaches living in the ruins of Earth.

In fact, on of the ethoses you can choose at the start of the game is Spiritualist, which gives happiness bonuses and unlocks Psi technologies, as well as theocratic government types.
