No you're not. On PS4 at least you hit X after dying and it sends you back to your garage to run another tank while the first battle is finishing up. You get the experience and silver when the match ends.

The game is biased to russians to the point where Russian vehicles are better on every way and even Russian shit that was blueprints is in the game. This combined with the p2w nature leads to a shitty experience.

The battle rating system is completely fucked.
Any planes but fighters or attackers that can crack tanks with cannons are useless because the only available missions are essentially deathmatches.
Spotting system is broken (not a problem in arcade or sim mode).
Crew skills give a huge advantage to wallet warriors or long time players, especially with the broken spotting.
Just a few point from the top of my head, there's way more. Also this is just regarding planes. Tanks are way worse.

I like WWII games more than just "tanks", and I haven't played any modern-era games that had tanks in them so I can't give an opinion on recent Battlefield games. However, Battlefield 1943 was fun as fuck, and I liked tanks in that. Haven't bothered with WoTs.

OMG, Russian vehicle are easy as fuck to destroy. Especially Tier V tanks. All it takes is a single HEAT shell to their right side to kill them. Most shells will easily go through their sloped armor, unless they are really good at angling, which most Russian drivers SUCK at. As for the planes, if you dive, most will snap their wings following you.
As for the P2W, how in the hell is it P2W? If anything it is Pay-2-Grind faster. There is nothing that you can buy that will give you an advantage over the enemy, unlike WoT's Gold Shells they used to have.
