If you don't know what I mean, it's called "deadzones". Basically, the character moves as though you're using a d-pad to control, because certain areas of movement are 'dead', so when you point the stick in a certain direction the character won't walk that way. They'll walk up, down, diagonally, but no degreed between. So you basically just have an 8 pointed star of movement rather than a full circle.

I started using it the other day because I wanted something with dex before getting the bird scythe and it's such a cool weapon. The katana slash goes under every horizontal attack in the game while instantly staggering whatever it hits and has huge range to take out groups of weaker enemies. I'm of the opinion that the number one, top of the list, most important aspect of a game is the basic control. If it doesn't feel pleasant and intuitive you've failed.
The character control is the way you interact with the game world on the most base level, so if that's fucked up then why even bother?

The shitty control is just the tip of the iceberg, really. Every aspect of the game is a sheer downgrade from Dark 1. Gameplay, level design, enemy design, visuals, music, story. Everything is worse. It's not just a matter f the game being a bit clunky, literally everything sucks.
But what annoys me most about Dark 2 is that you can see some diamonds shining through. There are some story elements that could have been really interesting, some shit in the game that could have been great. But all of that is stuck in this turd.
