The dialogue confuses me the most though. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to talk to vamos & have him drop a hint about where to find an ember to give him. from what I've seen, DS3 is mostly just missing armor sets that got dummied out.

Looking over at the ruins/remains of Izalith it's fair to say that the Chaos Demons are indeed sapient and not just "sentient" like animals.
-The ruin you run through seem to be some sort of GRAVE or Tomb they originally built and constructed from the ruins of Lost Izalith to house their greatest demon heros and people.. But when the Chaos Flame began to fade more demons than they could actually respectfully bury began literally piling up.
-The Gherm/Ghorm(?) The Goat Men were previously soldiers within the Farron legion that became corrupted by the Chaos flame. Many of them live in the swamp, but a greater number of them have returned to Lost Izalith- perhaps in an attempt to revitalize the city, kindle the chaos flame- maybe some shred of loyalty sprouted in their hearts despite their corruption.
-There's a number of pyromancy tomes littered across Izalith, the big one I want to mention though is the "Izalith Pyromancy tome" which seems to have been brought forth to one very large Goat Demon sage by the hands of a normal human. Was this one of their final attempts to try and revitalize the chaos flame? Is that what the Goat Demons are trying to do? Acquire lost pyromancies?
My big question though is about the "Lost/Stray Demon."
He seems to have ventured very far from Izalith and has gone completely out, but remains vigilent in his quest.. but what is his quest? What is he after?
Was he making the treck to Lothric or Firelink in his own attempt to find a champion or someone to rekindle the chaos flame? Was he going to try and do it?
I'm super fucking curious about the demons.
Everything about them has just been a victim of circumstance- So much is left unanswered about them and already they've begun to fade away.

With intelligent Demons being the "Citizens" and the unintelligent Demons acting the part of labor, guard, military, etc..
The Capra And Taurus Demon seem to -me at least- to be semi-sapient: They're intelligent enough to wear some shreds/articles of clothing, they wield weapons and most importantly they CRAFT these weapons, but with that said they make them from the bones of OTHER demons.. There are "lesser" Demons and "greater" demons as produced and born from the chaotic sort of crap-shoot that is the Chaos Flame.

Unless you're reffering to something I've missed: I think the "land of lords" title is ambigious/references any place with a sufficient "first flame" and possessing many neighboring lords.
Like, Drangleic is a land of lords because they have the throne of want and king vendrick united many kingdoms and neighboring provinces in order to try and find a cure for the curse.
Drangleic could also be considered a land of lords because of how many kingdoms have risen and fallen over there through out the ages- Maybe the throne of want is "new" and that these kingdoms constantly fell because no one fucking knew how to rekindle the flame in their neck of the woods until recently.

They said/revealed there would be THREE Dark Souls DLCS so with my "three dlc wishes" I'd like to see:
-One Devoted to the profaned flame. Just, just the whole fucking thing. I'm like 80% sure though Miyazaki fully intends to do this as he's just been baiting us. It'd also be really amazing to meet Yhorm when he was in his prime- I bet he's an amazing Giant.
-One Devoted to dealing with Izalith. I don't want to see it fade away- I don't think the Demons are "evil", it feels more like they're just another nation and victim of circumstance. I'd love to see something done with them or receive some closure at least. Maybe even an entirely new DLC ending where you rekindle the chaos flame? Who knows.

I don't think Yorshka is literally the daughter of Gwyn or a sibling of Gwyndolin: I think she's certainly related to them, but the title "father Gwyn" and "brother Gwyndolin" are said more in the sense of respect and status.
I think it's more likely that Yorshka is Gwyndolin's NEICE: Whom he stole away to safety, kept alone and then eventually made her the captain of the darkmoon covenant for one reason or another when he became ill due to pontiff's fucking shenanigans.
