>How do you want your game studio family?

JUST

http://mobilesyrup.com/2016/05/02/vivendi-still-wants-to-take-over-ubisoft-purchases-larger-stake-in-the-company/

>Implying Vivendi won't focus more on mobile and f2p games after the hostile takeover
>Implying they won't shove micro transactions on every titles
>Implying they won't kill niche side project like Ubi Art
>Implying Vivendi won't destroy Ubisoft from the inside

Devs also threaten to leave the studio after the hostile takeover if ever happen

>>
Eh....

But it's Ubisoft. They kinda deserve it.
>>
Ubisoft is already shit. Who cares?
>>
>Assassin's Creed
>Far Cry
>Uplay

I doubt they'll get any worse.
>>
>Implying Vivendi won't focus more on mobile and f2p games after the hostile takeover
>Implying they won't shove micro transactions on every titles

Ubisoft already does this, though. Literally all they develop now is second-rate shooters and yearly Assassin's Creed shit.
>>
Ubisoft is a pretty cancerous company but they make some good games every now and then. I honestly hope nothing happens to them.
>>
>>336265318
Ubisoft isn't good you normie faggot. Remember Watch Dogs? In fact, I don't think Ubisoft has release a single game that wasn't dime-a-dozen Chadcore trash.
>>
>>336265704

The CEO of Ubisoft also owns Gameloft
>>
>>336265318
How is this even fucking legal? The other shareholders should have stepped up and made the company privately owned.
>>
Do you honestly think it matters at this point? Do you seriously think they can be any worse than they are now?
>>
>>336265318
>Implying they won't shove micro transactions on every titles

I thought Ubisoft already does that?
>>
>>336265754
The new Rainbow Six was ok, just didn't have much content.
>>
>>336265754
You're a retard. Watch Dogs was the only game that ever made me doubt the company. Even Assassin's Creed 3 came from a good series.
>>
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ubisoft_games

What would anyone even be fighting for?

>>336265828
Maybe you should do some research into investment anon, it will help you later in life.
>>
>>336265903
They release expansions to their games that usually heavily involve a portion of the story that should have been in the main game, but they do not have micro-transactions in most of their games.
>>
I want Chad to leave my board and take his Ass-Ass-In's Creed shit with him.
>>
>>336265828
Maybe the other shareholders don't actually give a fuck about Ubisoft? Did that ever cross your mind? They own shares in Ubisoft because they want to make money, not because they give a flying fuck about Rayman or Assassin's Creed or what gets released on smartphones.

Ubisoft is a garbage company. They should be flattered that someone thinks enough of them to bother acquiring their corpse. There's a certain humor, though, in watching a communist sandnigger company chimp out at the possible takeover by a turbokike conglomerate.
>>
>ubisoft
>"""talent"""

lolling so hard
if all the incompetent fucks at Ubisoft left their games might actually improve.
>>
There isn't much left to tarnish
>>
>>336266095
Assassin's Creed has them
Rainbow Six has them
Watch Dogs had them
The Division has them
>>
>>336265828
>How is this even fucking legal?

Square Enix pulled the same shit on Eidos
>>
Arent mobile games dying? Normies stopped caring about F2p shit
>>
>>336266545
Yep, the bubble is bursting. Much like MMO bubble burst, same is happening to F2P/Mobileshit now.
>>
>>336265318
Bust most importantly

Haven't bought an ubisoft game since 2009.

They are irrelevant.
>>
So no new Rayman right guys?
>>
>>336267770
This is actually the biggest loss
>>
>>336267770
Don't worry anon you will get 50 mobile games as soon as Vivendi owns Ubisoft.

>Haven't bought an ubisoft game since 2009

Same m8, they lost a customer for life with all their bullshit in the late 2000's, especially Uplay.

>Mfw they're being destroyed
>>
>>336267770
>>336267889
For me biggest loss would be no more HoMM and M&M in general.
M&M X as well as HoMM VII are both pretty good after they got patched because Jewbisoft was forcing the devs to release ahead of schedule as usual.
>>
>>336267990
And how does it feel to know that you had literally zero impact on it?

Ubisoft died in the 6th gen as far as I'm concerned.

Red Steel 2 and Rayman Origins/Legends were absolute anomalies once they shit out AssCred.
>>
>>336265318
>>
>>336267770
I doubt we were going to get one anytime soon after Legends anyway.
>>
>>336267770
>>336267889

Michel Ancel already left Ubisoft to form his own studio in 2014.
>>
>>336268101
>Red Steel 2

I remember the original being ok for a early Wii title, is the second one good?
>>
>>336268380
Nope he still works at Ubi
>>
>>336265318
At least they'll know how it feels to be fucked by a big corporation like their consumers do.
>>
>>336268089
Where did I imply I had an impact on it?
>>
>>336268380
He formed his own independent studio but he didn't leave Ubisoft.

>>336265318
I'm waiting for the small teams to break off and go solo after this, we always get great new teams after a large company goes down
>>
>>336268832
Short sweet and the motion controls are satisfying
>>
>>336265318
it's ubisoft
it's like a cancerous tumor gets eaten by another type of cancerous tumor
