I think the remaster looks pretty good, doesnt look lazy to me.

What does /v/ think about the zombie mode of the serie?
I think it's pretty good and deserves it's own games with every map, but that's requesting too much to Activision. It's crazy to know that this once just little gamemode next to the big ass campaign and multiplay of WaW is now an very important part of CoD (and one of the only selling point i can find). The story is so weird, the secret are medium-level (like fez but .. less harder?) they even hint at their future DLC. It has just been discovered for example that the first letter of each sentence in the character bio of WaW zombie. This is just crazy. Why is the zombie, BETTER than the game itself ?!

Yeah I don't see people having a problem with paying another $60 for CoD 4 remastered. Fucking Sonyggers bought The Last of Us "remaster" for the PS4 shortly after it was released for the PS3, and people in general did the same with GTA 5 on PC/Xbone/PS4.
People just don't want to buy Infinite Warfare though or support it in any way. It makes sense business-wise to bundle these two so you make more money, but it doesn't make sense to bundle a game that transformed the FPS genre with a series that ruined the FPS genre.

One of the reason i like COD's multiplayer over any other is because of the simplicity of the maps.
I'm not talking about the design of the map itself here. I'm taking about the textures, all of the details on the houses, every object on the map.
It was simple because of performance but that allowed to clearly see the enemy, your eyes weren't distracted with 2000x particles and detailed bricks and barrels. You could clearly see the enemies as standing out.
Now look at this and imagine an enemy coming at you: do you think his model will stand out as much? It will not, as the previous COD have proved.
They're trying to reproduce COD 4's greatness, but they won't be able to achieve it because they do not seem to understand why it was good.
