It would have to be a subtitled spinoff like Hardline. That would allow for maximum distinction from other games whilst not effecting the core brand.

Nahh it was for the gamecube or N64. You controlled a cartoon commander in efforts to overtake the enemy, thats about all I remember. The tank was really cartoonish, cute. Your commander was able to run around and get into different vehicles as he pleased. You also had a squad of friendlies. Were able to mount HMG nests in defense against waves of enemies.
