What are you, some kind pussy? Life is the happiest game I've ever played. Everyone gets a nice family, a good career, tons of money, and everyone gets to retire at the end. There's barely any competition except to see who has the most money at the end.
LISA didn't really do it for me. I kind of connected with Brad's plight, but the rest of the game's awkward humor took me out of it. It didn't really mesh as well as the juxtaposition of Mother's humor, or heck, even Undertale

If you think you might be able to handle it though, I'd definitely recommend going back and trying again now that the new translation's out. If it gets too much you can always break the game up.The first time I ever finished it I was really sick with fever, and it enhanced the experience so much

Most of the most horrible stories you hear about things that happened to real people will only ever be just stories to you anyways, it doesn't matter that it actually happened to someone.
