It was a subtle MGS game and you guys wanted stupid MGS3 tier storytelling with 20 minute cutscenes explaining the macguffin and Godzilla references.

Spoilers don't matter and yeah fuck you I liked the linear story gameplay with some cutscenes, it what made Metal Gear Solid , Metal Gear Solid.
I also liked Peace Walker even though it changed shite and I even liked MGS V kinda.
But V was a huge disappointment, it was clear a ton of crap was cut because of Konami shit or Kojima being a dick. Like Kiefer sutherland the amount of budget that went to him must have been insane since he is pricey but then Kojima sees Mad Max and doesn't use most of the recordings, there that rumor of him licensing a bunch of songs and not using any.
No wonder Konami kicked his ass out.
Then theres the huge factor of the ending being cut.
MGSV was a great game to play but still a huge disappointment considering what could have been.
We got an open world full of nothing, characters with no depth besides the pre established dept from previous games, bare bones of a story , cut content and a missing ending that won't be resolved.
MGS V was an unfinished game, I wish it was never released.

Which is kinda a shame because was open to playing Ishmeal(or whatever), but they manage to fuck that up with the identity shit and lack of personal choices(other than Quiet).
I wanted it to be great, but all it did was follow the worst trends in gaming for the sake of "art".

Skullface was extremely anticlimatic, and after finishing the tank mission with quiet I was like, "is that really it?"
The music was amazing and so was the game play.
