-good specs, because lets face it, no one won without support from Activision, EA, 2K, or Ubisoft
-no gimmicks, just straight up video games. Off-tv screen is fine, but should've been an alternative controller and not the main controller
-good online connection. Its embarrassing that MKX before its recent netcode patch was considered playable compared to Sm4sh

-good first party games. None of this Sticker Star Paper Mario or SF0. Nintendo games should have far more content than their predecessors. Its embarrassing SF0 has less planets, no route variety, no split screen multiplayer, and no expert mode.
-new IPs where it benefits, new games to established series where it sells. Dont make a gimmick the reason you come back to a game. If the fans like the series as it is, theres no point in reinventing the wheel just to be new
