Wes bails on Snagem at the start of the game and blows the fuck out of their base, then proceeds to shit on everything Cipher is doing because they were Snagem's bosses, purely out of spite.
But he did rescue a qt and purify a ton of tormented Shadow Pokémon (which supposedly requires being nice to them), so he can't be all bad.
