What are some games where I can run a dojo and fight opponents while leveling up my stats/learn new moves? Something like Karate Master 2 Knockdown Blow or Way of the Samurai 4.

as a kid I did karate, and it felt like an RPG in my mind. new belts = leveling up, you learn new techniques, raise your stats, tests are boss fights, etc.

I think it's stupid, too. Nobody is learning the "best way to actually win a real life fight" because the answer to that is simple - kick him in the nuts, stomp on his head. There's nothing better than that, everything else is obeying various made-up rulesets about what is and isn't allowed.
but with Karate (and other chink jap gook marial arts) you get to do fun shit like kata and stuff, not just boring wrestling matches.
