It's over-saturated because the people who are popular set the standard of how to play it safe on Youtube.
If the audience flocks to someone screaming into a microphone with a facecam in the corner of the screen, then that's what they want. As far as gaming goes, that's what you have to compete with the rest.
As far as reviewers go, you have to improve on James Rolfe's formula and become your own thing or rip off Jontron and become your own thing later. That's the way it goes, unfortunately.
