A real competitive game. Millions of times better than LoL or Dota 2. Also takes more skill and strat especially when buying items and builds.

I played a lot of LoL for a while with some friends. One friend got into Smite because he couldn't handle the control scheme of LoL or something.
I picked up Smite and it's interesting and fun. I personally found the Smite community to be twice as toxic as LoL's, but I mute everybody every game anyway so it's whatever.
In conclusion, eh.
It's trash. The only reason my friends play it is because they like being able to use WASD to move their heroes.
Otherwise they say they would play Dota with me.

Really? I found it to be the opposite, and it's why I prefer Smite over LoL

I seem to be in the minority. Of course, other people that might have found Smite to be more toxic probably didn't stick around like I did.
Part of it might be that I was hovering around mid Platinum in LoL, and I feel like Gold/Plat players tended to be pretty pleasant, honestly. Whereas as I was learning Smite, I was obviously making a lot of dumb mistakes any new player would.
It's impressive, desu, how Smite players find the time to type about how you're garbage when they actively need WASD to move around. At least in LoL you have a good 20 seconds to type while you're walking back to lane.
