It's bad, family. Like really bad. It's painfully generic and all of the things that make the series great are thrown into a blender and what comes out is so fucking boring
That's its greatest crime, that a fucking RATCHET AND CLANK movie is boring. And it's not even that it's marketed at kids, there's loads of easter eggs and nods to other Playstation stuff so clearly they expected the grown ups in the audience to like it.
I saw it because I felt obligated to and I regret it. Fuck that. If they made a Sly movie and it was headed by the guys who made this I still wouldn't see it

It is a predictable go get something movie. It revolves around keagan being a straight laced normal guy who has to pretend to be gangster and Jordan being a burn out who is not as bad as he thinks he is. They go on a drug deal because they lied about being iconic badasses
I give it a 7/10. I was afraid it was going to be a series of sketches and it wasn't. Would recommend best comedy in a while

That was kind of the whole point behind GG, journalists weren't doing their jobs and were passing off blog posts as professional reviews and colluding with one another to keep doing it. Basically, game journalists aren't journalists by definition of the term.

Yeah and it was a made-up game that didn't exist yet, so it's mostly an original movie with some cameos of real Video Game characters.
As for R&C movie, I really enjoyed it, but I also knew what was going on the whole movie since I Platinum'd the game.
Only part that'd meh is it uses a few cutscenes from the video game, but that's okay.
The jokes made me laugh, but none of it was dying of laughter funny.
Just some chuckles and mild laughs.
Clank seems to have just a little more screen time in the movie than he did in the game as well.
It's also more straight forward than the game, since Qwark isn't in prison and telling the story.
That aspect isn't even in the movie at all.
Plus the movie actually shows what happens to Drek, because in the game he just disappears and never saw again.
I'd watch it again once it's on Blu-Ray.
